I thought the room was ok but is was very basic. There was no option to make tea or coffee. Also the pillows and blankers were very thin and I couldn’t sleep comfortable because of that. The room was hot and the temperature was hard to manage. First day we did not get hot water in the shower. Location was very good though.

The hotel does not honor booking policy by Best Western. I never had a problem with BW before. Today, I booked a room for my assistant stayin in Bremen overnight. He was denied check in with explanation that the room was not paid.

Maybe the hotel is good but they clearly do not follow their contract with Best Western.

*edit, originally 3 stars, but achat hotel takes reviews seriously and immediately took action. 4 star for great attitude!

1) Good:
Clean and spacious.
TV has hdmi connection.
Decor is quite nice.
Quite location.
Staff are generally friendly and tries their best to understand non-German speakers.
Able to loan me a Fan, else it is too warm for me..
2) Bad
Some things are really not good enough:
No bathrobe and slippers in room. (Junior suite).
Requested them but was told not available so i bought my own hard slippers.
Until i saw some other guest having them and request them a few days later. (Yes, none was provided for the few days until i asked again)
Wifi signal is super bad , considering the data sim coverage in hotel is bad as well, unless u got a room near the wifi router, you are effectively isolated.
Cleaning of the room has different standards, sometimes cups are washed, sometimes left as it is.
Hair dryer is weak and old ... The common toilets has a newer hairdryer.
3) Just Different?
Some standards difference compared to asia 3 /4 stars :
No Air Conditioning. Super warm indoors.
Coffee / water is not replenished provided daily. Even though daily rates remains the same. No other way to obtain drinking water except to buy them in bulk to hotel.
Iron and board not available in room.
No explanation of the facilities available by reception, or the number to call. (All phones menu are in German..)
No laundry or dining menus.
4) Summary
To be fair this could be the standard for all other 4 stars in the region.
It felt more like a service apartment, with nicer decor but without proper kitchen. Maybe staying in a service apartment is better.
If you lowered your expectations , it is still good.

The hotel is nice and clean and the room design is also very pleasant. The hotel has a free wellness area with gym, sauna, turkish bath, relax area and an ice bowl.
The price is a little expensive but all in all its a good experience

A good hotel in a very convenient location near the main station. I had a spacious room with a beautiful view. Everything is clean and high quality. I really liked the breakfasts. Large selection and everything is delicious. The hotel has a swimming pool and saunas, where it is convenient to relax during the day. I am happy with my stay at the hotel. I recommend it.

The service was excellent, the rooms were ok and the area was ok. The pool area was much smaller than the pictures and feelt a bit outdated, but it was ok for a quick dip. The area feels a bit shady at night compared to the more Central(tourist areas), and there are about 10 minutes of walk to get there.

With all that said, the price was excellent for what you got.

I stayed here for 2 nights June 25. TBH I really can't fault it. Minutes away from HBF, my room was very nice, a large single bed, kettle & tea bags, very well appointed. A buffet breakfast, lots of choice, healthy options. Hotel Zur Post is an old school traditional hotel 🏨.... HAPPY DAYS
