Really nice room, welcoming staff, good car park, good travel options (trams) overall really good. Only thing was the room was very hot due to the heating (understandable in winter but still a bit over done).

The location was very convenient for me, the room very pleasant, and I enjoyed the excellent breakfast. I stayed for 3 nights

3-3.5 stars would be fair. The room was rather large and the bathroom/shower were decent. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but not bad for a 1-2 night stay. The AC wasn’t working properly. Thankfully I stayed there in the fall, so it didn’t get too warm. The staff members were all rather pleasant.

- Rooms: fine - Bed: could be worse - Breakfast: fine - Internet connection: terrible!! I expect connection without any problems in 2021. Free Wi-Fi is unusable. "High speed" wifi for 7,5€/day (!!!) is also almost unusable.

This family hotel is a little gem! The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean and decorated with great taste. The welcome is charming. Parking is a plus. Dinner was excellent. The best Hotel in Gera. Very big rooms, very polite and helpful employees. Top central location. The Sauna is rather new and is a blessing during the stay there. I can fully recommend this top Hotel to anyone considering travelling to Gera.

A big hotel in a mid sized city, Victor's core benefits are it's gorgeous interior paired with a great breakfast and bar area. The rooms are alright, clean and big. The hotel is located in the middle of the city and directly connected by public transport. The personal was especially friendly! Happy people serving in a happy place.

From pluses I can only mention that it's kind of central and every room where I have been has a 🛁 bath. Great place to stay an over nighter. Visited family and this hotel was perfect. The rooms are great, wife slept like a rock. Didn't try breakfast, ate by Family.

In 10 years around the world I can say that the royal inn is one of the cleanest hotel, but no English speaker at the reception and the Wi-Fi really bad

4 stars mainly based on price and value. As a 4 Star hotel it means you get the privilege to pay for Internet $10, parking $7, breakfast $11, and sauna. The room has ac, but it doesn't work well in either of our two rooms. Even cool outside it couldn't cool our rooms after 2 hours. Eventually gave up and opened windows, but fair amount of noise from the street and bugs because no screens on Windows...

A nice little hotel, in a (at least on Sundays) almost deserted little town. But friendly staff, English talking, nice and fairly clean rooms. Came late, departed early, a pleasant stay, fair price, will do again. :)
