Aloni Hotel Pefkochori in Pefkohori

Check-in with Sara was quick, friendly, and she did a good job of providing all necessary details, while also escorting us to our room. The hotel is located off of an alley, which provides a nice feeling of being removed from the chaotic two-way streets of Pefkohori. There was minimal road noise, as the busier streets are far enough away. The hotel complex had a family feel to it, where many residents were lounging on their back patios / balconies and all around the pool. The presence of other families outside seemed to be a constant throughout the day. The room itself was well equipped. It had a kitchenette with a mini refrigerator, two burner range, several pots and other dining necessities, and a sink. One could easily cook up a small, simple meal. The room was outfitted with the standard fare of a wardrobe, small desk, two end tables, and several beds. The mattresses were very firm. Extra blankets and pillows were provided in the wardrobe. The bathroom had a larger than average shower, which is always appreciated. There is seldom an exhaust fan to help alleviate the humidity, but a small window did assist. The water temperature was very nice, as was the ability to hang the shower wand from the wall. One can use the toilet to the fullest, as is customary in Western countries. The Wi-Fi in the room was extremely weak. It could be improved by opening the shutter doors which lead to the back patio / balcony. This improvement was minimal. Better reception can be received on the patio / balcony though. The neighbors were a little loud from time to time, but never very late. The noise did not come from between rooms (i.e. through thin walls), but seemed to be noticeable when others were outside of their rooms. The pool area looked very nice with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and regular chairs. We did not use the pool, therefore I cannot provide further comment. Except to mention that it was full during most of the day. The dirt parking lot is located behind a padlocked gate, which is located approximately 50m past the alley to the hotel. There is signage for both the hotel entrance and the parking lot. One must check-in to the hotel before receiving the key to the padlock securing the parking area. The streets in this town are somewhat congested making off-street parking a welcome luxury.

This is perfect place ) for people with kid and without . . If it’s too much sun you can stay near clean big pool . Service is height level , they are smiling , try to help you in any case ) I will return here ! Aloni - you really do it with heart )

Everything was perfect! We stayed in mid July and were thrilled by hospitality. When staying in Aloni, you are provided parking space which means a lot having in mind Pefkochori is crowded in this period of year.

Maybe the only value-for-money hotel with swimming pool close to the old town square. Friendly staff. Our room in the 2nd floor, with a view to the green hills and to the pool was relatively quite. However, the WiFi was incredibly weak inside the room.

A nice hotel with nice pool area, it is perfect for family's, on this vacation it was only me and my wife, but will come back with our unborn child :)
