Satori Boutique Hotel in Acharavi

Satori is a nice room rental (as no breakfast is served) very close to the beach. Spacious rooms, clean and fully renovated with a nice garden area and pool to relax. I wish the communication with the owner Maria would have been smoother (a couple of times she forgot to reply to my messages prior to our arrival), and unfortunately the staff there was really rude and incompetent. The maid Cristina who was cleaning our rooms was not able to accommodate any of our very basic requests 1. We paid 10 euros a day for a cot bed with no mattress (only when I messaged the owner two days later they brought a home-made solution which was overly uncomfortable - see pictures) 2. My 3yrs old son takes a nap around 2pm and I've asked to clean the room in the morning / at a different time so that he could rest, I was told that it was "impossible" since the cleaning schedule was always changing 3. The last day nobody told us that the check out was at noon, I prepared lunch and at 12 I discovered that all the food I prepped was thrown into the trash. The owner did not even offer an alternative meal so we had to go to a restaurant and pay again at our expenses. It's very sad that a place with such good potential is managed SO poorly. Hope they will improve over time as what they now call a "boutique hotel" is quite far from that definition.
