A very pleasant stay. The entrance gardens are beautiful. Lunch was very good; delicious and varied. I recommend the hotel if you have a car.

Really pretty beachfront hotel. Clean and well appointed. Very friendly staff . Very accommodating. Breakfast was best we had in Greece. Will hold luggage and has a shower and changing room for guests.

We recently visited this hotel. Very lovely, beautifully kept, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Right near the beach and main shops/restaurant area. Rooms nice with tea/coffee and even ouzo replaced every day. Breakfast was good and lots of choice. Would highly recommend and will be returning.

Great hotel with easy access to restaurants, the beach, and bus service. Despite being just off the main road, it was very quiet. The gardening around the property was also cute. Where to start with this amazing little family run hotel 😍 location is perfect, right on the beach in Gouvia , with really comfy beds and good quality umbrellas and table service all day . Hotel has been refurbished to good standard. Breakfast was of good range and quality. Negatives were a rusty, leaking ancient fridge in room and disappointing pool area with uncomfortable sun beds and “pool bar” which was just a display fridge with limited range of canned drinks.

Excellent hotel at an inexpensive price - quality of services and rooms. There are breakfasts. The sea is 19 minutes from the hotel, where there is a beach with pebbles and 30 minutes a beach with sand (sunbed 5 euros), if you walk. Bus 7 runs to the city for about 15 minutes to the center of Kerkyra every 20-30 minutes. From the stop to the hotel it is about 8 minutes on foot. The staff was polite...

This was our second time as a Family to Govino Bay & both times we had an amazing time, beautiful clean apartments, amazing Pool area, reception staff & restaurant staff lovely couldn't do enough for us, pool bar staff maybe not as friendly, a very peaceful location with lovely bars & restaurant's close by, myself & my husband returning back in June 2026 cant wait !!!!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Corfu. The location was perfect — close to the beach and only a short drive from the old town. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely come back!

We stayed here 03/09 - 07/09/2025. We arrived at just after midnight, had to wait around 25 mins for somebody to arrive at reception & show us to our room; I then had to walk a long way and up a few hills with three suitcases; whilst my pregnant wife carried our two year old & had my 9 year old walk with her - the guy showing us to our room didn't ever bother the offer to help with the bags or children...

We had a very good stay at Govino Bay Hotel. The price-performance ratio is excellent, with a beautiful pool area including a bar, friendly staff, and convenient parking for both cars and scooters. Our room was spacious enough, bright, equipped with air conditioning, and everything was clean. The facilities are a bit dated, but still well maintained. Another great stay at Mathraki Resort, George and his family did a great job of looking after us and our basement apartment was lovely.

We stayed here for one week in September & had a really lovely holiday. We had a studio apartment right by the pool which was traditional but spacious & clean. The pool area is lovely with comfy loungers & never any trouble getting a sun bed (although probably busier in peak season). You will get a really warm welcome here at this family run resort, George, Maria & their sons are so friendly & helpful...

Perfect week at Mathraki, really enjoyed the swimming pool and fabulous sunbeds - amazing! The family look after everyone so well and the food is very much enjoyed . Gouvia main strip resort is a few minutes walk down across main road and we really liked that as you are away from traffic and noise! We will definitely return to Mathraki 😊

We had the most brilliant stay at Mathraki Resort, the rooms were spotless, the facilities were amazing, and the location was just perfect! As a group of young girls we also felt extremely safe both at the hotel & surrounding areas! We will definitely be back & recommending it to all of our friends & family!

Very friendly family run apartments . Everywhere spotlessly clean . We only had breakfast at the resort on one occasion as ‘smoking-allowed’ everywhere , spoilt that part of it for us… this also was the case with sitting around the pool and on our balcony . We would have eaten at the hotel more and joined in with the ‘Greek night’ if not so Smokey. We probably should have gone to a non/ restricted...

Another fantastic holiday at Mathraki. The complex has had a tasteful refurbishment since our last visit and our apartment was beautiful and the new sun beds modern and super comfy. No sun bed wars here! Thank you Nikos for making us all feel like part of your family. It really is a special place. Stayed here from 22 sept to 2nd oct. Was brilliant. Lovely staff, apartment as cleaned, pool was lovely. Only advice I have (and this is my fault not Helion), is you get bitten to death so bring insect repellent, but that is the case in most hot countries.

We recently stayed at a self-catered hotel apartment with a group of 5, and it turned out to be a comfortable and convenient base for our trip. The apartment was well-sized and One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the swimming pool. It was clean, well-maintained, There were loungers around the pool, and it never felt overcrowded.

This resort is great for all kinds of customers. We were there with the family and the welcome was warm. Great staff and the rooms are clean and spacious. The environment is very calm, but still fun enough! The pool is also clean and deep enough for a quick dive and some lanes. The location is perfect. Nearly all fun activities are within reach (you can walk to most places, if not, the busses and taxi...

Overall a very good case, but it had negative points such as the small water supply with problematic taps as well as weak wifi
