We visited the resort to celebrate my mother’s milestone birthday. We had an amazing time thanks to the staff who went out of their way to arrange a whole birthday cake, candle and singing with our first evening meal which made her feel very special. The entire team deserves a special mention, in particular the housekeeping team who always left our room looking immaculate with a smile on their faces...

We had a really good time but the hotel was definitely a bit tired and it just didn’t match up to other hotels we’ve stayed in for similar price.

Dreams was a wonderful hotel, we loved the stay here. From when we arrived we were fully looked after, suitcases took from taxi then a welcome drink and explanation of the hotel grounds. Mid way through our stay they called to check everything was okay, which we couldn’t fault anything. Pools & beach had enough sun beds for when we went, staff were all very friendly and worked hard- walking around...

The outlook from the hotel is stunning, especially for sunrise. Our room was upgraded to a bungalow with seaview and I think this added to the rating. Having read a number of negative reviews prior to our stay, we considered cancelling, however we are very glad we didn’t. This hotel does a lot of things right and there really is nothing to complain about. A very pleasant overnight stop just 20 minutes from the airport. Nice light, clean room. However, by the standards of many foreigners, not 4 star - probably lower 3 star. And the description I saw included 'free parking' while only on-street parking was available. Very friendly staff and good (not outstanding) breakfast. Given the price, I will probably stay there again as it was excellent value.

A very nice property, fairly new (or at least renovated) with a pool and elevator, centrally located in town and close to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. 1st class service, lovely hotel, amazing staff, everything so clean, yes there is the odd smell now and again but it’s not from the hotel. I would say this hotel is suitable if you are mainly looking for a place to sleep while spending your days at the beach. The rooms can be quite noisy, as the building is relativily old and its possible to hear sounds from rooms above, such as footsteps or doors closing. We stayed here for one week in September & had a really lovely holiday. We had a studio apartment right by the pool which was traditional but spacious & clean. Perfect week at Mathraki, really enjoyed the swimming pool and fabulous sunbeds - amazing! The family look after everyone so well and the food is very much enjoyed . We had the most brilliant stay at Mathraki Resort, the rooms were spotless, the facilities were amazing, and the location was just perfect! We only had breakfast at the resort on one occasion as ‘smoking-allowed’ everywhere , spoilt that part of it for us… this also was the case with sitting around the pool and on our balcony . The sea is 19 minutes from the hotel, where there is a beach with pebbles and 30 minutes a beach with sand (sunbed 5 euros), if you walk. Stayed here from 22 sept to 2nd oct. Was brilliant. Lovely staff, apartment as cleaned, pool was lovely. Only advice I have (and this is my fault not Helion), is you get bitten to death so bring insect repellent, but that is the case in most hot countries.

We recently stayed at a self-catered hotel apartment with a group of 5, and it turned out to be a comfortable and convenient base for our trip. The apartment was well-sized and One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the swimming pool. It was clean, well-maintained, There were loungers around the pool, and it never felt overcrowded.

This is an excellent hotel and I would highly recommend staying here if you visit Corfu. The beds are super comfortable and it is extremely quiet at night. Highly recommend! The owner is a great guy! He accommodated us earlier for free. Also he helped us with all our needs. (We arrived with 3 month old baby) and he provide us microwave and everything we needed for free. Rooms are completely new and very clean. Air conditioner, clean towels and all the other things on the room. The location is just perfect!

Very good value for price! Located very near to many restaurants, bars and the beach. Many places in Corfu can be reached from here with a car in 30 minutes. Christos the host is very friendly and helpful, feel free to ask him for advice and places to visit. The breakfast was somewhat unanimous, but always well enough.

This hotel is alright for the location, near to a lovely town . The room is big enough and we can cook as this is studio. And they have a giant swimming pool!

This is the second time I’ve been here this year & what an absolutely beautiful, chilled family run place! Food is second to none, staff are all lovely & the hotel itself is just so lovely! Hmm, where to start! I was asked to pay extra for aircon which definitely was included in the room and I can prove it. Also the hotel is right on the main road so noisy!! And no parking at all. Very very inconvenient if you have a car. Although the owner and staff were friendly all these other things made me leave early. Booked a five night break here for myself and my partner. This place didn’t disappoint. Our room was spotless. Cleaned every day. Bed was so comfortable. Plenty of sun beds. Pool was warm and very clean. Food was good and plentiful. Loukritia and family looked after us and nothing was too much trouble We would return again ❤️
