Aegeo Hotel is an absolute gem in Folegandros! The property is beautifully set out, surrounded by flowers and greenery that create such a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Everything is thoughtfully designed and very functional — from the outdoor deck chairs and table to the handy clothes rack, every detail made our stay more comfortable.

The rooms themselves are spacious, spotless, and well laid out, offering a perfect balance of comfort and charm. The location couldn’t be better, just a few minutes’ walk from the heart of Chora, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful.

What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality. Dimitri went above and beyond with his local tips, advice on weather conditions, and recommendations that made exploring the island so much easier. He is a true gentleman whose warmth and 5-star service set Aegeo Hotel apart.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Folegandros — this is exactly where you want to stay!

It was an amazing accommodation experience at Aegeo, can only recommend it to anyone who is looking for an authentic, luxurious and comfortable stay near the oldtown, including a fantastic view on the old chirch of Folegandros. Also, the owners were extremely welcoming and sympathetic!

I stayed at Hotel Aegeo and had a very good experience. The location is convenient, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything felt well taken care of. The staff were welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. It’s a simple place but with a warm atmosphere, and I’d gladly recommend it.

We loved our stay here. Our room was adorable. Close to all of the night time activity. One of our favorite destinations for our time in Greece!

Excellent place and very very cozy . Very close to Chora. Popi and Vasilis are always there to assist and they proposed all the nice trails and beaches to visit.

This is the prettiest place to stay on the island, with pots of brightly coloured flowers surrounding each of the rooms! The hotel combines traditional, blue and white Greek style housing with comfort and modern facilities. It is situated on the quiet, lower slope of the hill, only a few minutes walk from the main town. We had wonderful views of both the mountain and the sea from our balcony. Our double room was compact but provided us with all we needed, including tea, coffee, a kettle and a fridge. It was spotless and everyday the room was cleaned and the comfortable bed remade.The shower was great with ample hot water.
Our hosts, Kaliopi and Vasilis were wonderful. They provide a pickup service to and from the port every day and their knowledge of every aspect of the island is invaluable. Kaliopi offered us great advice on the walking trails to the different beaches, bus timetables and where to find traditional Greek food. We really loved staying here. Highly recommended for everyone who appreciates the traditional Greek island style!

This is the second time we have stayed here. Kalliopi and her husband are wonderful hosts. Rooms are lovely. Top floor has great views but the ground floor also has a lovely view with own little courtyard. Transfers to and from the port are timely and efficient. Rooms are refreshed daily. Local recommendations are made and nothing is too much trouble. We had a wonderful stay. Folegandros is a wonderful small island. Highly recommended
