Solaris in Folegandros Town

Thank you so much to ms. Valentini and all her stuff for her amazing hospitality! I stayed with my two kids and had a great time at Solaris, the room was spotless, very spacious, very well equipped and was cleaned daily!!! The breakfast was great with fresh orange juice, homemade cake and jam among others. The pool was always super clean! The price was very reasonable! Totally recommended!! We will definitely stay again!

Nice location just outside chora which has 20 restaurants.
Nice clean rooms, lovely patio area for room and gorgeous pool although very cold.Free pick up service and return to port.

We decided to spend almost two weeks in Folegandros only at the end of June, joining friends of ours which already reserved downtown Chora. At the beginning we looked for and found at the same location of theirs, but before actually confirming, I wanted to give a look around, just to make sure there was no other better location. Solaris Hotel matched all our expectations, a good ratio price/quality, all the services we need, pool included. Then from the photos we had the chance to preview the location and our staying there confirmed what we expected. Even if it is a bit away from the center of Chora, in less than 10 min by foot you can walk between the white houses and restaurants. From the hotel you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the Chora and the Panagia (the church which dominates from above), but at the same time you are out of the main streams of tourists walking around and the few cars or buses riding the main street. I should say, I decided for Solaris by instinct, even if there was no availability for the whole period and the first and the last day were missing. Valentini was so kind to arrange our holiday, finding a way to add the last day. So, we arrived on July 21st, stayed at another place, waiting for the following day to go to the Solaris. Valentini arranged for us an early pick up with their car, she ordered an early cleaning of the room, giving us a chance to enter before the usual check-in time. The room was spacious enough for us (we were three people), I think it was the biggest they have (remember, room no.1), airy and bright, with a beautiful view, right on the pool with the town in the background, everything was set, with Valentini and the personnel available all the time for everything we might need. In case we go back to Folegandros, we shall choose Solaris again.

perfect experiences. we stayed just a few days in Folegandros and one of the reasons we didn't explore away from the lovely Hora and its churches, is because this hotel felt so nice and relaxed, particularly the wonderful swimming pool and pool area. The rooms are clean and nice, very good breakfast served by the pool area at flexible times in the morning and service/personal as nice warm and professional as it gets.
In our usual "Family Rating" whenever we leave a place, tje number 1 favourite thing in Folegamdros was this hotel. 5 stars can't be more deserved.
