We stayed at junior suite, the room was so comfy , fully designed and modern! You just open the curtains in the morning and you will see the best view in the island! A beautiful, peaceful pool in the afternoon and good breakfast full of choices!

The Hotel is very quiet. We realy hear the sound of the Sea. It's very near the harfbour and the city of Pigadia. We enjoyed to stay at the pool area and to have daily amazing lunch and dinner. The rates at the snack bar are cheaper than in Pigadia. The staff is very good and they are very friendly with all guests

It’s a very relaxable place and his name is exactly what it offers. You hear the noice of the sea and makes you relax. Amazing breakfast

Lovely accommodation in a quiet location. About 10/15 minute walk in to karpathos town but it is quite hilly in parts. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast quite sufficient. Large, spacious pool area with plenty of comfortable sunbeds. Recommend.

Seclusion, but still walk to town. A large, modern comfortable suite with a terrace overlooking the Agean. Great breakfasts made to order and a wonderful staff.

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. The location is beautiful and the grounds and villas and pool are are pristine. The rooms are amazing and spacious and comfortable for lounging or working. The pool is stunning and the views are amazing. The made to order breakfast is delicious. The proximity to the town is good so plenty of restaurants. We had an amazing stay and would book again immediately.

Picturesque and quite location. Spacious and clean rooms, but the hotel needs partial renovation and richer breakfast choices to support the relatively high accommodation prices. The personnel (Stella, Giorgos) is excellent, very friendly and helpful!

Top apartment hotel. We States here past ten days and really enjoyed. Everything is in walking distance (you do have to go up and downhill but that is no problem). Good AC. Staff was very help full and everything was nice clean and tidy. Would surely recomend. Thanks !

Our stay was lovely, thanks to the polite and welcoming lady at the reception desk that made us feel comfortable right after our arrival. Room upgrade without extra charge and a clean big room with views in the Aegean Sea to gaze for ever - relaxing ☺️

A relaxing holiday at a hotel with very helpful staff in a very nice atmosphere and surroundings. The pool area had the most comfortable sunbeds and plenty of them. We hadnt booked any meals but had a lunch and a few evening meals and they were very tasty. If you are walking into the town of Pigadia ( Karpathos town) be aware it is quite sloping and takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

UPDATE (after the friendly note from the owner about the price ratios in Pigadia during the high season)
AvraHostel Rooms is simple and low budget = a reasonable price for summer conditions in Karpathos. Fine for a short stay.
Very nice welcome and good communication with our friendly host Giorgos (George) who conveniently runs a small coffee bar with mini snack bar downstairs. The property is close to everything, you can easily walk everywhere.
Our room was clean, big enough and cheered up by the nicely ornamented terrazzo floor. Good beds with bright reading lights. Sufficient storage space for a short stay, lots of hanging hooks. Mini fridge and electric kettle with cups. Convenient: sink in the room.
The bathroom was down the hall but it was only for us and the shower worked well with really hot water.
No fixed air conditioning, but Giorgos had kindly put a portable air conditioner (if you are noise sensitive, it might seem a bit loud) in our room due to the excessive heat. The window was ajar because of the hose oo the aircondition ... so we could hear traffic from outside, as our room faced the courtyard on the street side.
On booking(.)com I complained that the sink in the room didn't have hot water - according to his comment (below here), the host wants to check that.

I didn't stay at the hotel but they have a small coffee place on the ground floor and I can confidently say that it's THE best coffee you'll find on the island! I love Greece for many things, freddo cappuccino being one of them, and here it's just perfect.
