Farkia Exclusive Studios in Faliraki

Farkia Exclusive Studios, was not as advertised, room was nothing like pictures we viewed and booked online, there was suppose to be a check in desk, there was a roller shutter near the front of the building, this was closed for the duration of our stay, we were lucky as when we arrived we bumped in to a local who made a call and directed us to the room... we bought breakfast for two in our package, it was apparent the first day this place had no kitchen and we had to go elsewhere for breakfast. I could go on and on but I'm tired, lessons learned. Farkia Exclusive Studios and ******* are to be given a wide berth.

We bought room as advertised with manned checking desk and breakfast included. both of which it didn't have, no where onsite that did food, we had our breakfast elsewhere.

tried to contact Farkia Exclusive Studios, through ******* and a contact number we found at the apartments, No reply from either.

Luckily we had a local resident help us when we arrived, won't ever stay there again.

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The rooms did not match the pictures provided online, which felt misleading. When I requested assistance, the staff responded aggressively, and it made me feel unsafe. I've traveled extensively to over 70 countries, and this was unusually distressing. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a stay here based on my experience.

Upon our arrival we were greeted by the owner who gave us the keys without accompanying us to the room but only pointing it out from below as it was on the first floor... But let's move on anyway... I don't know where to start, but I'll try: the apartment is very very vintage and tiny, not corresponding to the one shown in the photo. More than a mountain view I would say a view in front of an abandoned field with very tall grass. In the kitchenette there was only a pot and a pan, so we had to buy a lot of things as there wasn't even the bare minimum for cooking. The bathroom? Old and tiny, toilet didn't flush, the shower had to be held in your hand, while you shower outside the foam and water comes out of a drain and floods the whole bathroom, yellowed toilet seat and I want to think it's due to time. Barbecue area offered in the services but fenced and therefore not accessible to guests. Swimming pool? Never seen it. No private parking but you park along the road. The real gem? The 20-year-old rusty fire extinguisher outside the door. If you need it, it's better to risk a fire than to get tetanus. We discovered that there was WiFi only after days and it was very weak, in the room it never worked.

Unfortunately we had an horrible experience at Farkia studios. We have been there for 8 days in June/July. The location is far from Old town and the beach and quiet isolated however if you rent a car like we did you can reach everywhere easily. Pro - friendly staff, family run business, very willing to help Contros - On arrival toilet did not flush which was very inconvenient, got "fixed" in 2 hours however broke again the day after and took a while to get fixed later that day. - There was no soap or shampoo in toilet. Overall floor and surfaces were slightly dirty. - There is very limited space where to put clothes and we had to leave them in the suitcase. - Rooms do not have daily cleaning service. Towels,toilet rolls and room get cleaned every 3 days. However our room was cleaned only once in 8 days. The floor was left dirty. We had to ask for toilet rolls which was not what you would expect from a "hotel". - The place is full of crickets. I would not recommend anyone to spend holidays here.
