Olympic Hotel in Karpathos Town

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Olympic in Karpathos Town! The beds were super comfy, the pillows amazingly fluffy, and the staff were warm and helpful. Perfect location near the beach, shops, and restaurants. Peaceful, spotless, and very relaxing — we’d happily return!

I stayed in this beautiful quiet family hotel in July 2024. This hotel has an amazing location, close to downtown and to most beaches in the southern part of the island. The personnel is very friendly and professional and always willing to help whatever the time. Breakfast is served in a relaxed area by the pool with fresh yoghurt and honey, fresh vegetables and other food. I truly recommend this hotel for your stay in Karpathos. 🩴🏖🇬🇷☀️🍉👙

Such a lovely hotel, 100 % silence during the day ond specially at night time. The staff was very kind and helpfull. Clean rooms and very fine pool area. The hotel is on a top of a hill, remember that. The breakfast was absoluthe fine standard. I will go on that hotel again.

Excellent hotel, very kind staff, especially the guy who stays there in the afternoon towards the evening, everyone is attentive and available to the simplest requests. My room was a bit disadvantaged, in terms of view, because it was located immediately next to the entrance, and I had a limited view, a glimpse of the sea and brambles. Despite the location, very quiet, and good privacy on the balcony, I decided not to add air conditioning and I must say, it wasn't the coolest week, even though on the mezzanine floor, I slept well at night. The decor is very simple, but there is more to Karpathos to look at. The bathroom was small, but the only problem was the shower cubicle, tiny and with the curtain that sticks on us in the slightest movement, I dare not imagine a person with an important tonnage ... Spotless common areas, impeccable swimming pool and surrounding patio, with very comfortable sunbeds. The linen was not changed until the 5th day (but at least for me it wasn't a problem because it was clean btw), on the last day I found them clean, but we didn't even use them. The only con I can find, is the breakfast. Little variety and the same every single day. They offer coffee, tea, orange juice, loaf of homemade sliced ​​bread. Biscuits, always the same, butter, jam in two flavors, and hot salty, omelette and frankfurters and fried egg and frankfurters, slices of cheese and ham alternate. To stand out the excellent quality Greek yogurt, which you can accompany with honey or peaches in syrup. Breakfast is good, but you make it the same every day. One single day they put a varied cake. Take into consideration, if you don't have a sprung vehicle, that it is quite challenging uphill compared to the center of Pigadia. It will be 10/12 minutes of ascent, which at certain times of the day are heavy, even at the end of the evening with tiredness. But we did it! (this would be the only reason not to come back, but it would be. It's not said that you won't come back, because I had a great time)

Clean, cozy hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Good value for money. It is very close to a 3-star hotel. To improve in the offer of variety in the breakfast. The swimming pool is very clean and well maintained, used by customers for relaxation and socializing.

A very clean and tidy hotel, friendly staff and simple yet deliciously breakfast. Showers could be better but it's not a 5 start hotel so you can't expect it to be perfect. I recommend this place!
