Very terrible! Hotel was clean but this think is only good on this hotel. They wanted us to pay for dirty towels even though they were already dirty new. I have never encountered this before. For someone to insult me at the reception. People, this hotel should be banned!!

We stayed here for 4x nights mid Oct. The photos of the reception/bar/lobby area on TA don’t do the hotel justice, it’s really tastefully done and is now adults only so no kids play area. They are a small team of staff, all very helpful, buffet style breakfast was excellent, lots of choice, bar prices reasonable for a hotel. I emailed the day before arrival to request a kettle in the room, it was there when we arrived, we just had to take cups from the breakfast area. Pool is huge, up to 2.4m deep so in Oct was very cold, it took me ages to warm up after a 10min swim. Lots of clean sunbeds, tables/chairs, lovely tree shaded decked area with bean bags, toilets, shower & change area by the pool and beautiful established trees all around the site. We opted for a standard room, we paid £26 (for 4 nights) on Jet 2 to upgrade to a pool view, we could have paid an extra £26 for a superior room (worth doing as it’s €40/night if you do it at reception). The standard room was basic, a bit old fashioned especially the bathroom but it was clean (maids came in every day), absolutely loads of storage, very comfy bed, powerful hot shower, small criticism not enough plug sockets (none by the bed), no phone/wifi service in the room, but fine by the pool & in the hotel bar. George kindly showed us the superior rooms on the 2nd, 3rd floors, really nice and we would upgrade next time, be aware not all the bathroom ‘glass walls’ in the superior rooms have a frosted privacy panel – worth emailing the hotel before arrival if that’s an issue. Hotel is in a good location, 5min drive from airport (Jet 2 transfer was via Mercedes mini bus), 3 min walk to the pebbly beach, very windy & rough sea, a kite surfer paradise. Excellent café bar next door, Billy’s Place, great food, prices, staff. Best supermarket was opposite Doreta Hotel 2-3 min walk away. 20-25 min walk to the pretty, authentic Greek village, advise not to visit when very hot, it’s very steep. I think this hotel could be a 4* if the standard rooms were modernised. I would stay here again.

Lovely outside and lobby. Staff would say good morning. It was so boring there. Nothing went on they had music on a speaker but that was it We went to Billy's next door which were brilliant . Drinks were expensive. Breakfast was bad then fruit was not fresh. My shower wasn't working properly the lady did come up and see it and told me I needed a new shower head and it would be changed next morning. Which it wasnt. I asked for a plug for the bath to be told they took them all out so they could save water.we went for a walk and found a lovely little hotel which was only 32 euro a night for both of us. So we left. And spent the rest of the holiday there.tholos was amazing but I would not book this hotel again.

Genuinely SHOCKED at all the bad reviews because this hotel was WONDERFUL! I feel like the bad reviews are from people who are super picky and just want something to complain about. Yes you have to pay for AC but that's the same EVERYWHERE in Greece. Yes there is a hotel cat, his name is Oliver and he's lovely and friendly! It amuses me so much that people go to GREECE and then complain about a hotel cat!! hahaha. This hotel was amazing. The pool was great, always plenty of sun loungers, lovely poolside bar, had no problems with the rooms, did not see one cockroach or cricket, the breakfast was super tasty and had plenty of options! My mum has allergies and the staff went out of their way to ensure that my mum always had something that she could eat for breakfast. They even ordered in gluten free bread for her and dairy alternative milks! The staff were so lovely, I actually miss them quite a lot! George and Dimitri who work the bar were always so friendly and chatty and we loved having a drink in the evening at the bar, they made great cocktails and are genuinely lovely people. George who works on reception went out of his way to ensure that we had a good holiday and we genuinely felt very valued and cared for and that meant a lot to us! The hotel was SPOTLESS, incredibly clean and was exactly what we were looking for, for our relaxing, poolside family holiday. If you are looking for a hotel that's clean, has a great pool, great breakfast, great drinks and wonderful Greek hospitality, then go to Happy Days!

This is my 10th Year coming to Happy Days with my husband, Daughter and her fiancée. My Daughter and partner have been with us for 3 years and love coming here. This hotel is warm, relaxing and so hospitable. I cannot believe some of the comments and reviews which have said don't ever go. We all love it. The hotels management and staff treat us like family so much so that we refer to it as our 2nd home with our lovely Greek Family. Our hotel room is always clean, the staff are warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. This year we were nominated by the hotel for an award after attending The Tourist Festival for Friends of Rhodes. We were given gifts and certificates to say we are now Friends of Rhodes. It was lovely to think we had been thought of this way. Our Certificates are being framed. If you want the Night Life go to Faliraki or Rhodes Town. If you want a lovely, peaceful, tranquil, relaxing, adult only holiday come here. Happy Days Hotel is just that. We had 10 Happy Days and no matter how many days you have, you will too !!!

I would like to have given 3.5 rather than 4 as there were a couple of small grumbles - I'll get them out of the way first. We arrived in the early hours so there was nothing to eat or drink. We didn't take up the offer of paying 9 Euros a night for AC so sleeping was difficult for me. My husband could sleep on a washing line so he had no problem. Access in and out of the hotel was difficult for him, as there was either a steep slope (with a handrail) or steps up and down from the pool area. He turned eighty while we were there and the travel company had promised me that the hotel would do 'something' for his birthday, but nothing materialised. There was no water supplied in the room and the bar charges 2 Euros a bottle, whereas the local supermarket charges 80C. On the positive side the staff were lovely, especially when they had to help my husband who had got stuck in the bath! They spoke very good English and were helpful and polite. The bar, reception and pool area were tasefully decorated and landscaped and were graced by the beautiful ginger cat. There was a lift to the bedrooms which were surprisingly large and had lots of storage space. The bathroom was small and basic but that's the norm for Greek hotels. We don't drive abroad and there wasn't much to see locally but there were enough restaurants for our week's stay. We took a bus to Rodos town one day - very crowded but passengers were kind enough to offer their seats to us. The stony beach was a few minutes walk away but there was a busy road to cross. Don't expect anyone to stop at pedestrian crossings!

Wow wow wow! We had the best experience at happy days hotel; we booked a last minute holiday to Rhodes, having never visited Greece before and didn't know what to expect we received the best service at this hotel - every member of staff was welcoming and friendly, every facility was clean and well kept, our room was beautiful (which was very kindly upgraded to a pool/sea view) and everything was 10/10!

We will definitely be returning to the happy days hotel in the future and had the best time. Thank you!

Good cocktails, nice people, good vibes. The best barman George and Dimitris and Endri.

The hotel staff in particular were always courteous and helpful. For example, our rental car and various cab rides were organized and ordered by the reception. We also recommend the bar, both during the day by the pool and in the evening after work. The bartender prepares good cocktails and has a wide selection of very good signature cocktails Furthermore, the rooms have a nice view over the pool area and parts of the sea. You'll see lots of kitesurfers. Together with their modern design, they provide a comfortable atmnosphere.

We come here every year. We love the peace and quiet it provides. The Hotel is so welcoming that we feel like it is our second home. The staff all work so hard to provide a good holiday for everyone. The manager and owners are so welcoming ( despite some reviews I have previously seen ) People obviously don't see what we see which is very warm welcoming people and we can't wait to come back in 2025
