We were very satisfied with our stay! The price was great for the quality of the room — definitely good value for money. We didn’t book a room with a pool, but to our surprise, there was one right at the end of our balcony, which was such a pleasant bonus. The staff were all very nice, helpful, and friendly, and the breakfast area felt welcoming and cozy. The food was good, though I expected a bit more variety in the breakfast selection. The pool area was clean, well maintained, and had great vibes. Overall, it was a great experience. We’d definitely recommend it and would love to come back again.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t extend our stay because the hotel was fully booked for the next night — which probably says a lot about how popular it is even in october!

Never book this hotel. It is in terrible condition inside. The shower cabin, toilet, walls, and floor are all in horrible shape.
On top of that, the room is full of countless ants, even on your bed!
On the first night after arrival, I asked to be moved to another room because there were spiders and the overall condition was awful. The reception ignored my request, and I was never relocated. My vacation was for 2 weeks, and this hotel was the worst thing I have ever experienced.
In addition, lizards crawl around the room!!
The cleanliness is at the lowest possible level, and you could easily catch an infection. On the first night, I had to clean the shower cabin myself just to be able to take a shower.
I strongly urge you never, under any circumstances, to book this hotel.

We booked a sea-view room (paying extra for it), but the balcony banister was lower than the 1.20m required by law — a serious safety issue since we were traveling with our 3-year-old child. When we reported it to reception, they offered to move us to a pool-view room without refunding the price difference. When we insisted, they told us we could simply leave and find another hotel. The food at the pool bar was also disappointing. The menu was very limited, the potatoes tasted of old oil, and the Caesar salad arrived with spoiled lettuce and no sauce. When I asked for dressing, they only offered plain oil. The room was missing basic facilities — there was no clothes rack to dry clothes. The shower head was rusty and there was no curtain in the shower, which made it uncomfortable. On the positive side, the room did have plenty of plugs, which is something many hotels overlook. The pool was not very clean or clear, which made it uninviting. Breakfast was ok — not a big variety, but acceptable and generally what you would expect. As a Greek guest, I also found it unacceptable that none of the staff spoke Greek. On the positive side, the personnel — from the cleaning lady to the receptionist — were generally nice, communicative, and helpful.

We stayed at Lardos Bay Hotel in August and unfortunately had an absolutely negative experience. The hotel in no way matches the descriptions on booking platforms and is a complete disappointment for the price charged.

• Second room: same issues, plus a broken toilet flush
• No usable shower – only boiling hot water
• Filthy, neglected facilities, cloudy pool
• Loud techno music until midnight – no sleep possible
• Breakfast very poor, no fresh fruit
• Promised compensation (wine) never delivered
• Bright red light from fuse box lit up the room at night

Dear fellow travelers, I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at Lardos Bay Hotel to help others avoid the same disappointment. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel has seen better days. The facilities are outdated, and the overall atmosphere is far from relaxing or rejuvenating. Instead of enjoying a peaceful vacation, we found ourselves frustrated by the poor service, unpleasant environment, and lack of hospitality. The staff seemed disengaged and unhappy to be there. Communication was a challenge—reception staff spoke very little English, although they were fluent in Italian, which made things difficult for non-Italian guests. The hotel manager, Mr. Iuri, appeared to have little control over the situation and didn’t seem interested in addressing guests’ concerns. Service across the board was subpar. The pool bar offered a very limited selection of drinks, and the bartender was anything but welcoming. Every interaction felt like a chore, and it was clear that guest satisfaction was not a priority. The hotel clientele was mostly older guests, which gave the place the feel of a retirement home rather than a vacation destination. While there’s nothing wrong with a quiet crowd, the lack of energy and amenities made the experience dull and uninspiring. In short, this hotel did not deliver on any of the promises of a relaxing getaway. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy your time off, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Save your money and your sanity—Lardos Bay Hotel is not worth it. Stay safe and travel wisely.

Unhelpful reception staff,a dirty and uncleaned room,a broken toilet flush(We cleaned the toilet by filling up a bucket, just like in old village houses) We shared our rooms with ants(lots of ants living the room).Never come back again..

The staff was friendly and very helpful with all our needs . We got the room with the "Private" pool which was really really beautiful 😍 But the room was a bit dirty seeing flys on the corner of the walls being there for a long time is not nice to see Also the curtains were dirty too much humidity in this place..

Rooms were tired. Renovated long time ago. Toilet had class door. Service was good and stuff friendly. Food on first day was totally tastless and other days were ok (could be better with no extra effort). Also quite much noise game from road all the time. But if you renovate it and change the chief it would be much better.

The hotel isn’t a luxury resort, but we still absolutely loved it. The rooms are simple and could honestly be cleaner (there was some gunk in the shower walls, the mini fridge was a bit dirty from the outside etc), and there were a few ants, but we didn’t mind it as much cause everything else was nice and clean. The floors were cleaned and towels were changed everyday, which we really liked. The town is quite far away but there’s a bus stop right infront of the hotel. There is also a little shop that sells souvenirs, snacks and essencials incase you forgot to bring anything. The staff is absolutely incredible, very helpful, polite and kind. Food was served bufet-style and was good, some things were better, some worse, but there’s something for everyone. One thing that surprised us a bit is that you have to pay for coffee from the bar, even if you have all inclusive, but they only offer light all inclusive so maybe that’s the reason. The beach is very close to the hotel, about a 2 minute walk. The beach is clean, not overfilled and the water is great, but you might want to bring water shoes cause there is a lot of rocks. Next to the beach is another supermarket with an even bigger selection of snacks and drinks. Tap water is safe to drink, but has a strong chlorine taste, so I reccommend buying bottled. The area is absolutely beautiful, there’s a ton of palm trees, flowers and even a fig tree, and there’s a beautiful view of some mountains. Overall, I wouldn’t reccommend this to anyone who values high luxury resorts, but it is a great value hotel where they made us feel welcome and at home (which I personally prefer over gold plated steaks and expensive drinks in a private pool)
