Aphrodite Studios in Astypalaia Town

We loved every minute of our stay at Aphrodite. The staff could not have been more kind, helpful and professional. We were picked up from the airport and welcomed with fresh orange juice, Greek coffee and lovely cake. We were able to check straight in even though it was the morning. We could not quite believe our eyes when we saw our room and view! The catering was exceptional - delicious breakfasts were delivered every morning with Greek yogurt, honey or stewed grapes (divine!), a savoury dish, and always cake too. We had planned to be out and about the whole time we were on Astypalea but such is the lure of the apartment and terrace that we spent part of every day there just enjoying the view, peace and beauty. Get booking and enjoy - you will not be disappointed!

Perfect
Wonderful hotel with everything you could wish for.
I had a cosy, nicely furnished flat with a wonderful view of the castle and the sea from the private green terrace belonging to the flat. The kitchen was well equipped.
The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure I felt comfortable.
The hotel is perfectly located between the harbour with the town beach and the beautiful town with the castle on top of the hill, all within walking distance.

Amazing
Everything was truly excellent, from the moment we arrived at the port until we left. The free shuttle service to the hotel, the perfect service, the wonderful view, the breakfast, the price. Last but not least the incredible Mrs Eirini, taking care of everything you may need.

A wonderfully run family hotel with great comfort and service. A 3 min walk to the beach, cafés and restaurants, a 7 min walk uphill to center of Chora. We stayed (17 days) in both the double #5 with sea view and the double deluxe with sea view which had a spa on the terrace; both which were superb in comfort. In the mornings/evenings we would watch the comings and goings of boats and ferries (entertaining). Beds and bedding of high quality and very comfortable. Breakfast was served in the room every morning was very generous and changed from day to day. Irina who took care of us and the apartments was like a mother to us; she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend for a relaxing vacation.

Very nice hotel, room and hotel decorations are adorable, rooms are big enough for two people, there is a small kitchen area in the room, they have Turkish / Greek coffee along with espresso machine and coffee, bathroom complementaries very nice. Our room was half sea half mountain view. They picked us up from the port since the island is not flat, it is hard to climb with luggages. They also dropped us to the port. Nice breakfast, ona bakery one something sweet (: There is no reception person at all times but we were able to contact them via booking’s dm, fast answers.

The studios are situated perfectly between the port and the centre (Hora) of Astipalea! The staff is very polite, friendly and they freshly bake on a daily basis different local delights for you to try every morning. The rooms overlook the sea and the Castle. I would definitely recommend it as we would definitely stay there again!

Our stay at Aphrodite studios was wonderful. Someone was waiting at the port to meet our ferry and drive us to the studios (which we thought we’d never find our way to, but you soon get your bearings). We had booked a basic studio with sea view ( #20) which turned out to be at the south side of the property and had wonderful views of the port and the castle from the terrace which was framed by bougainvillea. The bed was comfy, there was plenty of drawers and wardrobe space and the bathroom was quite roomy. Breakfast was delivered on a tray to our room every morning and consisted of yoghurt and honey, savoury bread/pastries and cake. It was delicious. Our room was cleaned every day and the Nespresso pods and sugar etc was always kept topped up (a lovely touch). On our last day we left our cases in reception whilst we went for lunch and they were brought down to the port for us in time for the ferry. We could not fault these studios or the friendly owners/staff and would highly recommend them

great location with amazing views, very friendly hosts

Lovely studio, spotlessly clean and in a perfect location for amazing views especially of the castle and port. Really friendly people with an amazing breakfast. Home made pastries, pies and cakes, also Greek yoghurt with figs in syrup to pour on top. Delicious!
Probably not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as quite hilly.

Excellent customer service, very polite and kind owners. Located very close to the centre of town with a beautiful view. The room was cleaned every day thoroughly. A small breakfast is served every day with no additional charge.
