Avgoustos Suites Naxos in Naxos Chora

My husband and I stayed at Avgoustos for four nights and had a lovely time! Avgoustos offers four modern, high tech suites — the stay felt private and intimate, almost more like an Airbnb than a hotel, and Stamatis and Joanna were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The rooms are beachfront (steps from the ocean) and a short bus ride to the port/center of town. There’s a bus stop right below the suites, as well as Stamatis’ family-run tavern for convenient drinks and meals (that can also be served on the sand). We chose this location because we wanted to be close to the beach and it did not disappoint. Daybeds on the beach were included in the stay. Breakfasts on our patio were so nice — we enjoyed the view in our robes. In the evenings we took a dip in our private plunge pool and drank wine. All in all, we had a great time in Naxos!

We were so lucky to score a suite at Avgoustos! We were warmly welcomed by our host, Stamatis, and he did an awesome job making sure that we were comfortable during our stay. The view from our room was amazing and we enjoyed the hot tub immensely. Stamatis arranged for us to get delicious and plentiful breakfasts on our deck every morning - it was an awesome way to enjoy the indoor/outdoor living while also setting us up for a great day. We appreciated the nice beauty products stocked in the room, the streaming available on the tv, the fun location of the suite, and the modern design of the room. Stamatis also made sure that we had transportation and other travel needs in order. I would definitely recommend this stay to others and I would love to visit again someday as well!

Lovely place to stay, great breakfast, amazing hospitality

Perfect place on Naxos Island. Don’t hesitate to book a stay here. Stamatis, Joanna and family welcomed us upon arrival and made us feel at home for 4 days! Without being intrusive, they gave recommendations, made reservations for us and generally added something special to our experience. Our room was beautiful, with an expansive balcony overlooking the sea. We had a private hot tub, loungers and a place to have a quiet breakfast each morning. We also dined one night at the restaurant Gorgona, which was delicious too! The location is perfect, 10 minutes away from busy and crowded Naxos town and across from a beautiful stretch of beach in Agis Anna. Stop looking and just stay here!

Avgoustos has 4 rooms, 2 of which we stayed in. Both were great. When you get there don;t expect the usual hotel stay, you will be greeted by Stamatis the owner, son fo the family who owns the Taverna just below the room. Stamatis with some help, will ensure your morning breakfast will be fantastic with the perfect view. This little port of Agia Anna is just the perfect spot to visit Naxos. Your are in the beach, walking distance to great restaurants and other bigger beaches, beach clubs and restaurants, the family traditional Taverna just below. This was our last stay in Greece and one we will not forget.

The location and the views are awesome. A family owned property that makes you feel at home with very nice up to date and comfort features The food was amazing Very nice sunset view from our private deck . Highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxing place

Great location overlooking a beach. Very nice modern room with deck overlooking ocean and hot tub . Owner met us and was very helpful. Restaurant downstairs owned by same family was excellent and had very reasonable prices. Island is very interesting and except for main town relatively free from traffic

Just stayed here with my family and it was fantastic. One of the most relaxing places ever. The hospitality of the owners is fantastic and they treat you like family and their food, especially their fried calamari was the best. They served breakfast at our room overlooking the coast and it was everything you would ever want. I highly recommend it.

When searching for an upscale accommodation to accompany the famous beaches of Naxos I stumbled across Avgoustos Suites. It had few reviews last year but the pictures sold me and the beachfront location was exactly what I was looking for. Fast forward to our recent Sept 2024 trip and we could not have been happier with our choice. Naxos was our last island after visiting Milos, Santorini and Paros and after leaving every place we thought it couldn’t get any better - then we got here. Stamatis and his family were truly the epitomy of Greek hospitality. Having the family taverna under the 4 suites was awesome. We would walk into the restaurant for a meal, or a drink and we were treated like family. We loved it so much we ate 2 dinners there and had countless 1/2L of Dimitri’s wine. The location on the beach of Agia Anna (and included beach chairs and umbrella) left nothing to be desired. 2 markets and multiple other restaurants all within a 5 min walk meant we never needed to leave. And we never wanted to leave. Ever. Because of the suites. Truly incredible. The attention to detail and the modern yet warm touches were so evident. The Bali beds on the balcony and the private hot tub while watching the sunset from your balcony is truly something I will never forget. The steam shower and separate water closet were beautiful and the beds like a cloud. I wish we would have stayed much longer. We will definitely be back. The breakfasts were an added bonus that was delivered to your terrace whenever you wished and they were huge! So much food and variety that everyone will find something to love.
