Vithos Seaside Aparthotel in Astypalaia Town

The apartment was good & clean if a little basic.
The communication was good.
Fantastic location on the water within walking distance to wonderful restaurants.
However, the apartment was noisy. Noise travels easily between apartments with washing machines going all night. We were next to a very noisy family with children shouting until 2am - this was frustrating and extremely tiring !

We loved the terrace and the very comfortable bed. We did not think the service was as friendly or helpful as we have received at all other 9 places. The apartment lacked a frying pan, kettle and cutlery. When we asked for them it came but not with good grace or a smile. When we arrived there was a bad smell in the kitchen. We hunted for the source. We opened the freezer and there was a lot of meat in it. We asked for this to be removed. The lady did not look at all pleased but said she would move it to another apartment. This solved the smell issue but we felt sorry for those other guests. It said check out midday on ***********. We asked if we could stay until 1 pm. The reply was no you must leave by 11am. We stayed until midday. So in summary, lovely location, great potential poor service and a smile would have been appreciated.

The views across the bay to the Venetian castle were exceptional. Staff very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and spacious Would definitely stay there again. Preferred the beach at Livadi but only a short bus ride away and not far to the Chora.

+ Clean...fantastic view....excellent people. stay was very very very nice...the room big...clean...the view amazing!!!!
- Everything was perfect...the only i have to mention is that the beds could be a liitle bit better....but the general.
