The hotel location was ideal - right on the beach and the water was warm even early October - around 24C. The room was spacious and clean and we had asked for a room with sea view, which was fantastic. It took us 20 minutes by foot to walk to the main village/port and by taxi it only took us 5 minutes. I recommend this hotel.

A slice of heaven! Spacious beach with shady and sunny areas. Sandy beach. Gorgeous views. Peace and quiet! Patio breakfast dining. Balcony rooms. Perfect for us!

This was my third visit to Poros and the Golden View Hotel. Comfortable stay in clean and friendly surroundings. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Check in and check out easy. Breakfast was good although the same each day. Coffee could improve. Bed was comfy and balcony lovely. Spent time reading on my balcony and made use of the free sunbeds and umbrellas on the hotel's private beach. A wonderful stay.

We stayed here for four days and found it delightful. It’s a traditional place, medium size and very comfortable. While we were there the mood was quite sedate and quiet, which suited us. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, but as someone already mentioned, no kettle. Hardly a hardship though. The food in the restaurant is as good if not better than most of the restaurants in the village. Breakfast is a bit of a let down though. Quite limited choice, lousy coffee . Plenty of it but could be better. It is right on the beach and there are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. The public ares are comfortable and all in all I would return in a heartbeat. For the views alone, in fact!

We loved this hotel!! The beachfront access was great. The breakfast buffet was delicious with so many options. We walked to the ferry port for dinner every night, a nice 20 minute walk.

Just checked in so full review to follow but initial disappointment in that there is no kettle in the room and no fixed shower head - only hand held shower (Room 312)

We had a beautiful view of the beach and sea from our balcony. The staff made us feel at home. Swimming in the sea was wonderful and warm. There were no additional charges for the beach lounges. All prices were very reasonable. The staff seemed dedicated to making us comfortable. The food was excellent.

The hotel is beautifully located. Excellent seaview from my room. Delicious Greek cuisine. Many breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. My room was excellent. Great cleaning staff.
