Good hotel for families with kids. It's a bit less than half an hour's walk to Syntagma Square, but it doesn't feel like a long trek. Novotel usually offers good value for money, which is why I often choose this chain when I travel to different European countries.

Breakfast was not bad …. Rooms were clean and pretty comfortable. Funny they provide drinking water as welcome drink and not on daily basis whereas they will replenish the mini bar daily for free. Location wise, not a great place but it is ok if you take Uber all the times. The souvenir shop at the hotel lobby was surprisingly not expensive.

Hotel is well located close to all major attractions in Athens. Lovely breakfast in morning and staff are welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately there is sewerage smell as soon as you come out of lifts and it’s present in some rooms as well.

A beautiful hotel a little tiny bit off the beaten path, but close enough to walk everywhere. And the views were spectacular. Make sure you spend time on the roof deck. It is gorgeous and the pool was just what I needed after a long day of traveling.

This isn't my first time staying here, and I really like it. The only downside is that you have to walk up the stairs with your suitcases to get to the reception area, and you also have to carry your suitcases up the stairs when leaving the hotel.

I booked this hotel because it was very affordable, but honestly it doesn’t feel like a real 4-star hotel. The area around it is not very nice and feels a bit run-down, which makes the location less appealing. That said, the hotel itself was clean, and that was a positive point. The staff was pretty great. The interior of the hotel was really nice. It was like 80s money vibe we didn’t get to have the breakfast. It was our last day in Athens however something that it is challenging about this place is the location because it is in the center of downtown so if you’re gonna stay there just be mindful of not walking out late at night.

I did enjoy the room size and cleanliness. I had a very bad time getting to the hotel and had to walk for 2 hours in pouring down rain because of a bicycle race. I don't blame the hotel, but I was very cold and irritable after I arrived. There were no rooms for us, and we had to wait for 2 hours to get a room. We had on wet and cold clothes still on from the walk.

My son and I recently stayed at Candia Hotel in Athens. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice, quiet and clean. The location was handy to the metro and the rooftop has a spectacular 360 degree view of Athens including the Parthenon. I stayed for two nights. The room was very spacious and had both a shower and a bathtub, which was very convenient.
