Where to stay with pets in Chalkida

I was supposed to be staying in a small double bed room, but the day I’d arrived, I was upgraded to a bigger room with a balcony which was absolutely amazing. Had a beautiful scenery out my balcony

Great location, friendly stuff

Hotel was great even though it has only 4stars rating. Accommodation ok, room ok, cleanliness ok, quietness great, amenities and facilities ok, price reasonable

Most important is it is facing with the water, you can enjoy the beautiful scene outside the room balcony

Location was perfect as it is close to train Station and the view was phenomenal overlooking the sea

I must take exception to several of the reviews that have panned Lucy Hotel. My wife and I are here for a Saturday night stay. We have a clean, well appointed, 5th floor room with a magnificent view of the water

Very comfortable, clean and welcoming hotel. Good breakfast to get you started for the day and beautiful location. The proximity to the beach and the tranquility here are just wonderful.

I was travelling for the first time on my own, and I couldn’t have chosen a better hotel to stay!! The loveliest staff, who were so kind and caring and made me feel so at ease! So helpful when I needed assistance and I can’t recommend it enough! Perfectly positioned too!

The bay is very quaint with a family friendly beach, fishing boats, several authentic Greek restaurants and almost no tourists. I will definitely be coming back to this 'home from home'

This is the fifth time that I have stayed in the Almira Mare and I was welcomed as one of the family by all the staff

The hotel is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is very good with an outside terrace looking out toward the bay, the perfect Greek way to start the day

Amazing hotel! We had so much fun. The kosher food was pretty good and everything else was 10/10. I especially wanna thank the staff who was all we could ask for - helpful, kind and devoted. We wish to come back soon.

Beautiful location. Beach access. Building shows some mature signs but well maintained and well renovated. Bungalow room was very good, new and well equipped. Lots of levels and stairs.

Lovely location on the coast, you can walk from the pool area easily to the beach area. Both have lots of lounges and shade and kosher snack bar service in both areas including coffee, fresh pizza and salads

The hotel’s location was also a big plus; close enough to Athens for day trips, we drove back and forth during the week for fun and shopping. In short, a great stay—comfortable, convenient, and beautifully designed

We drove to Jumbo and bought an intex boat for 40 euro and went boating every day. The only downside is the food. We went there specifically for the kosher food and while decent it was really no more than that

Hotel location on fantastic site, view on the Euboeian Gulf was fantastic as the evening walks along the sea

The location though is amazing, you are in the centre of the main area, where you can find countless restaurants and bars

The location is great ! On the beach, in the city centre There is NO PARKING in the hotel, even though in booking they said there is. So it was nice, but I see no reason to come back

Abundant and varied breakfast, both salty and sweet. Both check in and check out were quick with helpful staff, fully confirming the agreed prices. Not particularly lucky with the weather, but the view is very beautiful

The property had wonderful views over the water and to other side. Cracked sink, mildew in bathroom. Great promenade to walk along. Restaurants along promenade were woeful. Basic food unappealing and all same same

We stayed at John's Hotel for three nights and it really was the best hotel experience ever! The staff very friendly and polite, willing to serve us in anything! We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, modern design. A 5 minute walk to the promenade with lots of restaurants & cafes.

A friendly and cosy hotel for a very reasonable price, Located in the middle of everything in the city of Chalkida. Clean and confortable rooms, excellent breakfast. Parking available within the building and close by

The hotel itself was recently renovated and the rooms and common areas were very nice and the hotel bar/restaurant was one of the coolest in the area. Amazing coffee, food and aesthetic. Finally the location is perfect

It is a silent place, very nice room..very large, it is an apartment...with tv in every room..great viee...with all u need for your holiday..it is ok for family and all type of taste...I like it very much...

Only stayed one night but very friendly and professions. Large rooms, modern and we'll kept. No tea or coffee so bring your own. Nice big breakfast selection.

Studio was far larger than expected, the balcony was large and we had good views. Breakfast plentiful and the pool lovely. Have stayed there before and would stay there again

The breakfast is delicious! Something we especially appreciated and liked the day we left was that even though we left quite early and before they started serving breakfast, they gave us takeout for the road

First of all the view is magnificent. You go out to the balcony and you have a plate of the sea in front of you. The room very clean and very polite, friendly and helpful all of the staff

Price was low, the location was excellent. The room has everything you may need. There was a balcony with a perfect view, the bed was comfortable, there was an air conditioner, wardrobe, hairdryer, enough power outlets

Comfy beds and warm duvet (we stayed in December) Martha was so so friendly and looked after us as we checked in. There's also a gorgeous gentle old dog who welcomes you, if you are lucky

we only stayed for 2 nights but it was a pleasant stay and very quiet even though i expected it to be a little loud it was a beautiful location

It is located some meters next to the beach. It has place for car parking and you can reach the shops just by walking. The hotel has it own restaurant and it's bar

Excellent view! friendly stuff (almost no one speaks English though, but very eager to help anyway :-)), breakfast is very basic, and not always fresh, close to the beach. Good value for the money

There is a small parking in front of the hotel, so your car will be safely parked. I can not be disappointed from amplace where I managed to sleep and felt comfortable

All in all a great experience considering the price and location. Good for short stays, or if you just need a place to spend a couple of nights

The parking entrance is quite narrow. The best part is the great location & late check in till midnight

Budget Hotel, nice people, friendly!.

The room was basic, but clean and tidy. The bed was good and the service was excellent. On the cons would be the the wooden doors that provided no sound isolation and the sub-par view from the room

Kind and available staff, ready and open for everything. The hotel has got all the basics, including a fridge and air conditioning. It is. Also possible to. Give them the laundry for washing the clothes.

There was no provision of breakfast. Windows have absolutely zero noise cancelling features & our room was ground floor right on the foot path. If needed to continue l won't extend in this hotel
