Seaside hotel near city center. Good but not excellent.

I had an unforgettable stay!The service was truly top-notch, with incredible attention to detail from start to finish. They were warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome! The entire team made my visit feel both fancy and elegant. I can’t wait to return!

We booked the deluxe suite with the view of the sea. As we parked infront of the hotel we were immediately greeted by the staff, they parked our car and kept the car keys safe. The rooms were humongous. There were fruits and baklava on the table, as well as a note from the hotel. The beds were comfy. Definitely a 5 star hotel. Room were very spacious with many ammenities. Comfortable bed and plenty of space in the bathroom. If you book a room on water side, you get a beautiful view of the harbor. Super friendly and accommodating staff, and the breakfast buffet was amazing with a wide array of delicious freshly made food. If I come back to Thessaloniki, I'm definitely staying at the Makedonia Palace

Service is good, just that their lift is a bit wonky. Expect to wait for quite a long while for the lift, until the service staff comes to override it. Otherwise it is okay.

Stayed at Akrathos Beach Hotel for a week through TUI, family of four (2 teenagers + parents). We had two standard rooms — comfortable overall. The showers had the tray on the floor so water tended to spread out, but with underfloor heating it dried quickly. I’d give the rooms 4★, but everything else was 5★. We’ve been to this part of Greece before - just not in April. A week for Easter had mixed weather but this was more than compensated by the great food impeccable service & facilities of IKOS. The countryman car hire was a great touch for heading into town or The mall on a rainy day. Heated pools god send for the family even if it was spitting rain we’d get in!

Visited for a week at Easter. Weather was a bit better than the previous year however it was still too cold to use the pools even though they are heated. The service and food quality was very good. We had one slightly less than enjoyable experience in Fresco but I think they had booked too many large groups which impacted the speed of food service and atmosphere. Wonderful place. I was doubting to book a place with a bit more comfort or at the front line. However I chose this and I am absolutely happy for my choice. We arrived late around midnight and they left us dinner and water in the room, although we missed the dinner. It was so kind as we were very exhausted. The hotel is wonderful and very clean. The staff is kind and helpful. The food is lovely. I can only recommend it :)

We enjoyed the seaside service, it was good but the price of the sunbed rental was not shown anywhere, so we were not sure about the cost. Card payment is possible and you get complimentary snacks for your beer. Some of the sunbeds have little nails stuck in them, and you can get hurt easily.

Very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffett was very nice. Room was small but adequate. Mattress was a bit hard for my comfort but ok for a few nights. Area was wall to wall hotels and beach goers over running the place. Very crowded beach. North of town a mile or so the beach was much wider and quite as crowded.

Amazing place, very close to the beach, 50m from center, rooms are big enough, the staff is… I don’t know how to explain - they accept you like family, closest friend. I have nothing bad to say. Our stay here was like fairytale. I recommend this hotel with both hands!!! Thanks to Stella, our host, for everything!!!

Really enjoyed our stay. The room was a tiny bit outdated by western Europeean/US standards, but everything functions well and is very comfortable. The highlight are the great, friendly staff who helped us with questions and contributed a lot to making our experience fun and relaxing.

Very nice hotel, it's clean and the rooftop bar is great, rooms are quiet and the location is perfect, highly recommend this hotel, breakfast is super and the staff is very friendly. Next time, I will book this hotel again.
