Amfion Hotel in Olympiaki Akti

Staff was irritated by us and showed it all the time in different ways, they don't respect their guests. They were really rude and inhospitable with us. Never stay there. They are not professionals. I'll remember this hotel and its hosts for a long time..

We had breakfasts there and lived in another hotel. The staff is unfriendly. They behaved as if we irritated them. Breakfasts are good. But what if my child didn't want to eat there and I made one sandwich for her and wanted to take it away? Marfa started to shout and claimed to put it back on the table or pay twice for the breakfast. Inhospitable, rude staff. Never stay there.

This hotel is tragic... Rooms are very old, need a renovation. Doors and walls are thin as paper. Receptionist does't speak a word of english...only greek and russian. Beach is near but it's very dirty. Also, this hotel didn't accept my credit card, only took cash. Receptionist took cash and put it into her's bag, didn't print a check or anything. Very "official". Receptionist told that is a problems with my card, but I have been using that card all over Greece for past week with no problem.

Pros: close to the sea, mountain views, room cleaning every day, vegetables for breakfast. of the minuses: old numbers. They are completely different from the photos on Bookingcom. the bed linen is all stained. shower room. again, in the photo one thing is in fact completely different. an old broken shower with water pouring out everywhere. from the fence - an old yellowed curtain. The toilet lives its own life, then it flushes normally, then it stops filling the barrel, then water pours out of it without stopping. and the most important minus is the AIR CONDITIONER!! never take it!!!! the cost is 5 euros, taking into account the fact that you do not choose the number of days. if you come for 5, then only 5 nights and take it, otherwise they won’t give it to you, but that’s half the trouble. But the performance of the air conditioner leaves much to be desired. out of 7 nights of stay, the air conditioner worked normally only 2 nights, this taking into account the fact that we came to the room at 10 pm, turned it on and simply went to the balcony, otherwise it was impossible to be in the room. The air in the room became cool only in the morning. and then only 2 NIGHTS. on the last night it didn’t turn on at all, and when they asked for a refund, there was immediately a dissatisfied face and “if the authorities come in the morning, we’ll resolve the issue.” By the way, we left at 5 am. but at least half was reimbursed.
