El Greco Hotel by Estia in Benitses

The best host Fabulous view Easy to connect with kerkira and benitses... Good breakfast We loved it 🥰 and would come back at any time.

We really enjoyed our stay at El Greco, all of the staff were very nice and helpful. The room had a nice balcony with a view of the ocean. For breakfast they accommodated my gluten free dietary requirements which was great. The staff even helped us out when our car battery died! Would highly recommend.

I only have positive stuff to say about the hotel, and only one minor negative thing, which isnt even the hotels foult.

The view out of the hotel is amazing, our room overlooked the sea, you could see the mainland Greece from it. You could sit on the balcony in the morning, drink a coffee, or have breakfast and watch the sun rise over the sea. Its a family run Hotel, so the staff is thight knit, everyone is kind and helpful and also resourceful and can help you find cheap programs on the island. Can help you rent a car cheap, can recommend restaurants, beaches, all the best. Im sure for the price, its THE or one of the best hotels you can get. If i ever visit the island again, ill stay there 100%.

The minor negative thing is, the roads on Corfu are not the best, so a car is needed, especially because there are no side walks in front of the hotel, though there is a bus stop going to benitses and corfu town.

Hotel is located 4 mins walk to the public beach from both direction and the 10+6 bus stops just infront of the hotel, which takes you to the achilion palace and garden
The breakfast is served on the terrace with the see view or you can use your own terrace and eat their
The sunrise in the morning is amazing and most all the guests can enjoy this natural beauty from their own terrace
The water, towels, shampoos and soaps , dishes are included in the room

We stayed in this family-run hotel for 8nights in September. We enjoyed the wonderful view of the sea from our bedroom. They had a local car hiring company man come out to us to hire us a car - you need it for Corfu, and the family was lovely and witty and worked as a team. In times like these i much prefer to help a local business and family run enterprise. We had the basics and that really is all you need on holiday. Clean sheets, clean bathroom, daily clean of our room, air con - though I like fresh air and the window to the terrace, hubby was happy with having air con of course. We had a buffet breakfast and the ladies were always smiling and happy to help as much as they could. Sure it’s not a 5 Star Hotel but it is more than enough for what they advertise. I highly recommend El Greco - you’re also sure to get fit after all the delicious food in the neighboring towns because the hotel has stairs and lots of them. Work on those glutes and enjoy what Corfu Greece has on offer.. Ask the owner any philosophical or political views and his wife practical ones and watch as they create a lovely atmosphere. It’s just a lovely place. Efharisto!

Overall a great hotel to stay at for the money ! Rooms were spacious and clean with fast WiFi access overall. Breakfast was included and also had a really nice rooftop pool. Only advice to management would be to hire an exterminator or buy a few cans of bee spray and clear out the hives in the outdoor shower heads . Both were very active with wasp nests and a hazard . Other than the bee problem , the hotel was very nice and recommended for a low money hotel that is clean and comfortable .

The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Katrina went out of her way to get us get the best prices whether it be for our cruise or renting our car. The cleaning staff were super friendly and had our room in pristine condition every day without fail. The pool was fabulous and very clean with a beautiful view. We had a good variety of choice for our breakfast. The Greek yogurt was delicious. I celebrated my birthday while staying at El Greco and on the evening we arrived back to the hotel a bottle of wine with a lovely note was left for me. On our last day we had a late flight and Dimitry and Katrina offered us a room to rest for the day for free. El Greco is a lovely hotel with gorgoues views and amazing people. Would highly recommend and will most definitely be returning.
