Fantastic first experience! 5 star all the way the staff are a credit to the hotel too many to name unfortunately but Eire on beach serving, lovely girl, Sam in flavours so polite ! Everywhere you turn you are welcomed with a smile

Where to start? From the very first email correspondence with an agent named Magda, I knew this was going to be a special vacation. The care, concern, and hospitality were present from those first exchanges

Really, there are so many accolades to give this resort, every category is a five (1-5) But I will focus on staff. Each morning, you can't pass an employee who does not greet you with a 'kalimera

, the manager of Enoteca - whose name may have been Pantelis, Isabella at either Fresca or Flavors, were just a few. We had the pleasure of meeting Peter, manager at Guest relations who assisted us in many ways

This was our first visit and was pleased they changed our rooms on request only because we wanted a quiet area! Thank you ! The management team must be really proud of your team ! The food was such a high standard in every restaurant compliments to all the chefs! Thank you for an unbelievable holiday we will be returning and recommending the dassi only downfall we have to go home🥲🥲

' I would mention the names of every wonderful encounter - but there were so many. Even the guys who took our luggage to the room set the tone with their welcome

The rooms were big and classy, real had a greek vibe, they were all with big terraces. The beach area is not big but there is plenty of green space in front of the sea, really beautiful

Bedrooms are slightly dated now, but kept clean and tidy. Very friendly staff around the resort and hotel. Food and drinks are great quality. Branded spirits and hand made cocktails

We had a brilliant time, the staff are friendly and helpful, the view is unbelievable and the food and drinks are very good. We enjoyed the Asian restaurant the most. Make sure you book the restaurants before you arrive

What worked for our family: The Right Kind of Kids Club: Independence & Safety: The resort layout allowed us to give the boys a little freedom—like walking to the ice cream stand together or choosing a pool lounger—while we were still comfortably nearby

We were a family group of 6 visiting in September. The food options were varied (but be warned you have to book in advance) and very good. Staff are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them

Late check-out facilities also good, and again hotel discouraged us from paying to keep room on, to take a shower in their courtesy rooms using towels they provide or you can keep from your room

Location is excellent, with a choice of the lovely Dassia beach or two hotel pools, we preferred the smaller pool nearer the hotels reception

Paid for drinks were very good and reasonable prices, as was the food available from the bar and al a carte restaurant

One other thing, dogs were allowed at this hotel, no information about this, not good as some guests could be allergic to dogs

Supermarkets and resturants were close by both on sea front and outside hotel or a short walk and found others. Can get to Corfu town by bus but be aware the bus gets very crowded

Behaviour of guests generally good, no wild or anti social behaviour, and I'm sure that would be tackled if it did happen. People are polite but generally not looking to make friends

The pool and bar area was also brilliant with plenty of seating around the pool as well as food available to order to your seat which was also very good

nice buffet breakfast, rvs in rooms with availability to connect to Netflix , Amazon and Disney Plus. Good choice of drinks at the bar which is open 9am-10pm

The hotel and surrounding grounds are very clean and tidy. Friendly staff, good size rooms, working showers, good wifi in rooms and gardens / pool area

Bar stays open late and drinks well priced, very good cocktails. Dassia is a ghost town with just a handful of tavernas but there’s a frequent bus into Ipsos/Gouvia and Corfu Town

Rooms small and lacking storage , breakfast repetitive but adequate, pool and snack bar really good Pool area spacious with plenty of sunloungers, food good and reasonably priced but could have done with some sort of dessert/ice cream

Stopped in at the Primavera for a drink while out exploring Dassia

While we didn’t see much more of the hotel other than the rear garden, there was a nice atmosphere, staff were very friendly, and we were informed that there was live entertainment during peak season in the rear garden

and a few shops and bars nearby. Overall not a bad stay but also nothing to make us want to return. It is perfectly fine but I saw many other places I would probably choose in preference to this one

The fixtures in the bathroom definitely had not been updated in a long time, as they were old and not in the best shape

However, you had to ask staff if anything had run out. The hotel is rated as three star and this is on par for other Greek hotels, but not up to UK three star standards

Overall, we had a good stay at Victoria Hill. I was a bit skeptical at first when we arrived, as the lobby and main part of the hotel are definitely outdated and not the cleanest

If you have trouble with mobility be aware that the drive leading up to the hotel is steep. Also some airport transfers drop off and pick up from the road

All areas of the hotel very clean staff friendly although hotel very basic it was perfect to get away and relax,

On the positive side there are great views from the breakfast terrace and the pool is kept clean and tidy

A lady in reception advised us on the best way to navigate the island with recommended points of interest - she was clearly very proud of her Greek heritage which was lovely to hear

The breakfast was varied and delicious, the pool bar offered great drinks and snacks throughout the day - the club sandwich was excellent! The pool was warm, clean and very inviting, no sunbed wars, and a very quiet and relaxing space surrounded by trees and mountains - what more could you want! The rooms were clean and comfortable - Thankyou Nafsika - we will return

A hidden gem - from arrival to departure (7 nights) we couldn’t have wanted more! All staff very friendly and welcoming, happy to help and ensure your stay is enjoyable

To top it off, the staff were great, super friendly, especially the bar staff. If they didn't have a cocktail on the list you wanted. They would go out of their way to look it up on line and make it for you if possible

Stayed here for 7 nights at the end of August. We had no complaints this place is away from the main road so nice and quiet. No trouble getting a sun lounger round the pool, which is a bonus

A safe is €10 and another €10 deposit, which is returned upon check out. The receptionist slightly rude on check in, was answering phone calls half way through having a conversation with us but other than this no issues

Ipsos is the most local town with everything you need from grocery to bars, restaurants, nightlife etc, again only 15 20 minutes away. Corfu blue bus runs daily from Ipsos to Corfu town (number 7 bus)

Excellent place to stay, friendly staff and owners, nice food at reasonable prices, lovely pool with relaxing area for sunbathing. Its about a 15/20 minutes walk into Ipsos, roughly a mile

You can get a pre-paid ticket from local shops or a ticket booth at some stops for €1. 70 or pay the driver which is more expensive at €2. 30! Corfu town is about 15 kilometres away so even paying on the bus is cheap

Family are friendly, kind and will do anything to help you, the views are amazing, rooms are clean and food is delicious and reasonably priced, have been 3 times and looking forward to my 4th

Really friendly and helpful owners and staff and acceptable accommodation for the price, although the ten minute walk downhill to Ipsos may not be for everyone.

Lovely staff and most helpful. Swimming pool isn’t heated but doesn’t need it one length is enough to warm up. Room spotless. Evening meal is better than breakfast but both good for the money.

I stayed for a week for Greek Easter. Solo traveller, but I've been to Corfu many times. The hotel is lovely since the refurbishment. I was in a ground floor garden room overlooking the pool

The kitchen staff provided good food - we even got some tips on how to prepare a couple of the dishes when we showed interest. Positive side note: Our stay took place long before the start of the tourist season

Nothing felt like too much trouble! We had a sea view room which had a great balcony looking right over the beach, and the room had a coffee machine and a fridge (helpful for keeping water cool) We felt very well looked after during our whole stay

Special mention to Angelica, the receptionist, who organised our excursion to Paxos and Antipaxos, including a bagged breakfast since the bus would pick us up before the service was ready - she has been awesome! Breakfast and dinner was included and all was prepared beautifully and to homemade quality - the stew is to die for! Conveniently located next to bus route 7 that connects with Corfu Town...

Restaurant/Bar: We had more opportunities for interaction with the staff here - especially Malik. He did a great job caring for the bar/front of house and, in between duties, would engage us in friendly conversations

The instructor created a welcoming atmosphere and genuinely invited us into his world, sharing the intention and reasoning behind the practice. It made the whole experience feel both calming and meaningful

I’d definitely recommend it to anyone curious about trying something new and restorative

We spent four nights as Cooks Club Corfu at the start of April. Nothing out of place, spotlessly clean and modern. It is the most laid back hotel I have ever been to and I have come home fully refreshed

There was a real mixture of ages ( we were far from the oldest) and the music by the pool is very mellow. You order what you want from the app for lunch and dinner - self service at breakfast

When we read there was a DJ at the pool we were concerned that we were far too old to be staying at such a resort and that it was going to be a bit of a party hotel

There are two swimming pools - one of which has a DJ. Both myself and my husband are in our early 40's

Where to start with this amazing little family run hotel 😍 location is perfect, right on the beach in Gouvia , with really comfy beds and good quality umbrellas and table service all day

We booked the hotel at the last minute on our way to Corfu, and it exceeded our expectations. It’s a very clean hotel located in a quiet area, with extremely helpful staff. There is enough parking available

You’ll have a lot of more quiet towns, where you’ll only have resorts, you’ll have bigger towns with more bars, restaurants & shops, but Palaiokastritsa is a beautiful place

It had nice beaches, some stuff to hike too, shops, bakery’s and restaurants, 5 to 10 mins away on foot. I would recommend having a scooter for the duration of you’re stay

They then turn up 2 hours later after breakfast. The 2 on site restaurants are good but the menus don't change so if you stay more than a week, they’re probably not worth visiting twice

Loungers are free at the pool, but charged at the beach, whilst not standard at most all inclusive, this is the situation here, I was happy to haggle & pay, the lady in charge of the sun Loungers was a delight and was very warm & pleasant as the days went on

Its more of a question for the hotel, if they answer, how can you be right on the beach yet charge for sun loungers and beach bar, surely that should be included in the price bearing in mind that most people say its a trek up the hill? Thanks

I am so undecided about what to write as there’s some very good points, and some terrible points to this hotel

I will be returning to this very special little place. I can really recommend taking some of the paths and walking to other secluded beaches & coves, i snorkled at them all and it made me very happy

Upper pool bar is lovely, if you can manage the hill!!!! It’s horrible!!! Uneven ground and VERY steep!! We were initially put in a room right up the hill, had a miserable first two days because of this! The pool bar is the only bonus

After disembarking from our sailboat, it was so wonderful that they were able to have our room ready for us early, and for them to have brought our luggage up while we visited the Archaeological Museum! We also enjoyed our dinner at their rooftop restaurant!

Ideal for us for a short break in Corfu as we didn’t want a car. Lots of places to eat locally and lovely food. Service at the hotel was perfect and the rooms were kept clean throughout our stay

 We had a junior suite which looked over the water. Bathroom is small but that’s the only negative aspect of the hotel.  Not sure if you could find better place for the price
