Primavera Hotel in Dassia

Stopped in at the Primavera for a drink while out exploring Dassia. While we didn’t see much more of the hotel other than the rear garden, there was a nice atmosphere, staff were very friendly, and we were informed that there was live entertainment during peak season in the rear garden. Cocktails were average priced but very tasty, and didn’t skimp on ingredients. Thank you for making us feel very welcome! 👍🏻

Very nice simple hotel. Rooms small and lacking storage , breakfast repetitive but adequate, pool and snack bar really good Pool area spacious with plenty of sunloungers, food good and reasonably priced but could have done with some sort of dessert/ice cream. Bar stays open late and drinks well priced, very good cocktails. Dassia is a ghost town with just a handful of tavernas but there’s a frequent bus into Ipsos/Gouvia and Corfu Town.

Having read the reviews before I knew what to expect, yes rooms dated but clean, air con not the best, hard beds, wardrobe musty smell and tiny and couldn't open fully as restricted with door knob. Strong drain smell in bathroom when run water, shower small but clean. Breakfast was OK, could be improved with decent coffee and juice, sadly everyone said the same about breakfast, cold beans and hard fried eggs. Pool and pool bar lovely, always sunbeds available, food and drinks good. The staff on reception were lovely and helpful, the men in breakfast sadly faces like thunder, a little smile and good morning is all it needs. Resort sadly is lacking atmosphere due to ikos hotel taking over, bus service is great right outside hotel.

A good budget hotel with friendly staff, good value and near local restaurants and beaches. The pool is great and has loads of loungers, chairs and umbrellas. Drinks and food available to buy at the hotel is all very reasonably priced. Breakfast is simple but more than adequate with fresh bread, fruit, cakes and drinks. Rooms are a bit dated but cleaned everyday. If your looking for a good value hotel with a pool and within easy access to the beach, local restaurants and bus stops this would do the job!

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The breakfast was great with a lot of choice for everyone (fruit, cereals, bread, savoury items etc.). Staff were all super helpful and friendly. The rooms were cleaned really thoroughly as was the whole hotel. The main road that the hotel is on, is busy and noisy BUT the hotel pool faces away from this and so we didn’t find the noise a problem when we spent time near the pool or Bar. I think it probably depends on where your room is though in terms of noise at night. We had our doors closed and the air con on so it wasn’t ever going to bother us. Free air con in the room was a total bonus as well! Plus to use the safe you only paid a refundable deposit. We’ve not had that before in Greece. We also had a proper shower cube in the bathroom compared to a shower hose hooked to the wall like in many Greek hotels, which was also fab. Dassia doesn’t have loads of restaurants and most are on the main road which is loud when you are trying to eat and chat, so that can feel limited. We walked further afield and went to restaurants along the beach edge which was obviously much quieter.

lovely family run hotel, large pool area with plenty of sun loungers and additional shaded seating for the food/drinks. Hotel is spotless ,rooms cleaned every day. Breakfast varied for all tastes. Bus stop right outside for a 6 min ride into Ipsos which has a lovely long front with plenty of sun loungers together with bars and restaurants . busses run every 30 minutes on the number 7 route, 2 euros each Cross the road and catch the number 7 in the opposite direction and 20 minutes you're in Corfu Town, simply perfect . Hotel rooms are on the small side but has a fridge and a large balcony for the sundowner drinks etc. So if you're after a quiet relaxing time coupled with a lively resort just minutes away together with historic Corfu Town the primavera is a perfect place to stay .

We arrived at the hotel with an easy check in. Rooms- The rooms are adequate with a shower toilet etc. The balcony is a very good size and the rooms are cleaned daily to my surprise. We didn’t turn the tv on but you have a fridge and AC in the room. Pool- is a great size and super clean. There are plenty of beds, table and chairs with toilets near the pool. Bar- offers food and drinks for an easy lunch but I think the variety could be better as most things are with chips. Breakfast- is more than expected with cakes, fruit and a small hot selection available with tea’s ,coffee and juices. Surroundings- there is a local beach close to the hotel which is a little rugged . 15min walk takes you to another beach with a few restaurants, beach club etc This is a quiet town with a few good restaurants great for a week. I think longer you would have to venture further. Finishing Opinion-the hotel is a super family run hotel and well worth the visit. The gardens are well looked after like everything else. For a relaxing holiday is a must. My only Criticisms but not a negative- The hall ways can be loud sometimes with banging of doors. We found pillows slightly hard and thin. Could do with a different menu for the evening by the pool.
