Friendly and helpful staff noted as a highlight in many reviews, with specific praise for reception and bar personnel. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning and balconies, despite some dated decor. Breakfast is generally well-liked, offering a good variety including fresh options and quality coffee. The pool area is spacious and usually not crowded, with free sunbeds and umbrellas, enhancing relaxation. Quiet location away from main road noise but still close to shops, restaurants, and beach. Bar service is frequently criticized for limited staff, restricted opening hours, and a shortage of glasses. Hotel facilities, including the pool and grounds, show wear and require refurbishment according to several guests. Some guests report inconsistent room cleaning and minor maintenance issues such as bathroom flooding and noisy corridors. Dassia area itself is described as rundown by some, with a busy road to cross to reach the beach that lacks pedestrian crossings. Unexpected extra charges and some unfriendly behavior from dining staff were mentioned in isolated reviews.

Had a week at this hotel and whilst not terrible it certainly wasn't the best hotel. The first thing to say is that the Greek hotel starring system doesn't really bear any resemblance to real life, so don't go expecting this hotel to be of a 4* standard you would get anywhere else in the world. Think more like 2* (hence the grading), then you won't be too disappointed. But be prepared for the €10/night/room Climate Resilience Tax. So being positive for a moment. The breakfasts were pretty good. Bread and butter pudding was something else. The pool was a good size. Rooms were OK. On the negative side. The main areas of the hotel were dated. The hotel seemed to be chronically understaffed. It has two bars, but only seems to ever have one bartender. So only one bar is open at a time. Maybe the pool bar will be open tomorrow?? Probably not, even if the pool area is full. As it turns out though, it's probably not a bad idea that only one bar is open at a time, as we worked out that the hotel only had 6 large beer glasses. Were told that they were getting more glasses tomorrow! Maybe they did? Who knows? I went elsewhere to avoid disappointment. But maybe having limited glasses isn't a bad idea. First day I asked for the local cider. Er, no. Maybe getting some tomorrow. Room cleaning was a bit hit and miss too. Didn't get our room cleaned one day. Another day the cleaner had left the balcony door open. On a more general note, Dassia itself has seen better days. It's totally overwhelmed by the Ikos Resort, which we looked at jealously. Some roadside hotels have obviously been taken over by Ikos for staff accommodation and storage, meaning that the buildings and gardens have been left to deteriorate. Not a great look for the rest of the town. But there were plenty of places still to eat and drink and the staff seemed appreciative of our custom. So wouldn't necessarily recommend Dassia and if you go to the Lavida Nafsika with low expectations, then you won't be disappointed. You'll have a laugh, like we did.

This hotel was just OK. It seemed to be run on a shoestring budget with no Manager out and about on site. Our room was OK, reasonably clean but nowhere near enough electric sockets for modern standards. The fridge didn't work and you had to move the bedside cabinets to plug anything in. Kettle was provided but no socket nearby to plug it in. The breakfasts were fairly good but cold plates let the side down. Good selection of coffee though. The staff on site were mostly good, apart from one of the barmen who spent a lot of time chatting to the receptionist when he should have been out collecting glasses and tidying up. This leads nicely on to the bar service, which was appalling for a four star hotel. The pool bar was shut more times than it was open, only one bar staff member working and an embarrassing shortage of glasses. The hotel seemed to only have around six large beer glasses. I wanted to place an order for five large beers one night and the barman only had two glasses on the shelf as the other four were in use by other drinkers, he didn't even have six small beer glasses to make up the shortfall, and when challenged told me it wasn't his problem! Not good at all. The only exception to this poor bar service was when the tall barman was working, he did the best he could and was very apologetic for the hotels shortcomings. The pool was ok, the brolly's were fixed and couldn't be moved, unfortunately as they were fixed at the outer edge of the poolside you couldn't move your sunbed into the shade. Dassia as a resort seems to be struggling. The huge all inclusive place seems to have had a negative effect on the local businesses although all the Taverna's we ate in were first class. Would we visit again? Almost certainly not to this hotel unless the management improve matters, but yes, Corfu itself is very nice and we look forward to exploring the north west of the island next year

Stayed here for 7 nights at the end of August. We had no complaints this place is away from the main road so nice and quiet. No trouble getting a sun lounger round the pool, which is a bonus. Breakfast was good. The place was clean. To top it off, the staff were great, super friendly, especially the bar staff. If they didn't have a cocktail on the list you wanted. They would go out of their way to look it up on line and make it for you if possible

A hidden gem - from arrival to departure (7 nights) we couldn’t have wanted more! All staff very friendly and welcoming, happy to help and ensure your stay is enjoyable. A lady in reception advised us on the best way to navigate the island with recommended points of interest - she was clearly very proud of her Greek heritage which was lovely to hear. The breakfast was varied and delicious, the pool bar offered great drinks and snacks throughout the day - the club sandwich was excellent! The pool was warm, clean and very inviting, no sunbed wars, and a very quiet and relaxing space surrounded by trees and mountains - what more could you want! The rooms were clean and comfortable - Thankyou Nafsika - we will return

This hotel is a lovely quiet place to unwind. Plenty of space around the pool everyday! In fact. I don’t know where everyone goes during the day! The breakfast is fine, plenty to choose. I really enjoyed it. The room we had 346 was perfect with a small balcony that gets tea time sun. The beds are comfy, and good working showers. I read many reviews about how polite and friendly the staff were, and they really are!! You have a few restaurants and bars on the main road. All very nice. My only mild criticism is the grounds need some TLC, but this doesn’t define the place. Overall, a lovely holiday. Quiet, relaxed and not too expensive.

Having read some of the previous reviews my partner and I were slightly nervous about our stay here, especially as we were a late night arrival, we needn't have worried. Our transfer was to the door of the hotel we were not dumped on the main road as previous reviews have mentioned, so this must depend on the tour operator. We were met with a friendly and warm welcome by the reception staff, who were fantastic throughout the stay, offering us advice on how to get to Corfu town and what to do. Off we went to our room, which was an adequate size and had the air conditioning on, which was excellent and quiet compared to some hotels I have previously visited. The room was quite basic but clean and tidy, the beds are quite hard, which we like so it wasn't an issue for me or my partner. The bathroom was a good size, I found it odd that there were 2 drains in the floor for showers, I assume they left the original one there when they refurbished the room and added a new one in the new shower area. Flooding mentioned previously can be prevented by using the "eco" setting on the shower which is still plenty powerful. (Pull the lever one click rather than all the way). There were a few rough edges in the bathroom, the newish tiles had not been sealed around the ceiling or door frame but other than that it was pleasant. The pool area was clean and well kept in the main, there are a few cracked tiles but I can't recall ever going somewhere where there wasn't at least one. Sunbeds were plentiful, although there were different styles, possibly where they are only replacing broken ones as they break, no issue with that really and it's good for the environment. There was a pool bar which was generally open from lunchtime, I noticed that if the pool.bar was open then the inside one was closed and vice versa, but not really an issue as either was convenient. Breakfast was nice with a good variety, although the juices were not great and were more like squash. Staff again were excellent and were very efficient at cleaning up dirty plates and tables. Overall for the cost this is a very good hotel, if you want luxury and decadence then maybe the hotel across the road is for you... At 4 times the price. There is a busy road to cross but with the good old green cross code and a bit of patience occasionally it was never an issue and couldn't be heard from the hotel, even outside. Dassia beach is narrow but very beautiful, especially at night with restaurants along the front, but unless you want to pay for sunbeds this may not be the beach for you. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

At check-out we were suddenly charged €36 for a broken lamp shade, even though earlier the staff had told us everything was fine and that no extra costs would be added. This kind of surprise fee at the last moment feels dishonest and unfair. On top of that, the rooms were extremely noisy every sound from the corridor and neighboring rooms carried straight in, which made it difficult to rest. Luckily, we were moved to higher floor rooms later. In both our first and second rooms, the shower water didn’t drain at all, flooding the entire bathroom floor, and it was only fixed on the second-to-last day of our stay. I cannot recommend this hotel due to the lack of transparency and poor way of treating guests.

Good points Air con good Shower and water good Pool bar and staff good Bad points Very dirty in bed room under bed , in corners of room not been cleaned for a long time Balcony glass panels all filthy Broken sunbeds scattered around the hotel gardens just left there Toilets in hotel and back of the pool no locks on any doors Pool is in desperate need of repairs and very dirty Gardens need attention Road leading to the main road to shops and beach is full of potholes and area around it very rundown, broken bottles, unkept land, plus very dark walking back at night

The staff here and very friendly and approachable. Very helpful. Rooms are clean but most things definitely need updating. They are mostly quiet but you can hear noise from other rooms sometimes. Good soundproofing from outside noises though. Grounds are kept clean though. Breakfast is what to be expected. I didn't very much like the area the hotel was in and wouldn't stay here again because of that, but that's not the hotel's fault. I found Dassia to be dirty, noisy with vehicles and dangerous due to the unruly road. Crossing the road is dicing with death. Barely any rubbish bins and lots of rubbish strewn everywhere and also cigarette butts. Also, if you plan to visit the beach please be mindful you probably won't get a sunbed. If you do, you will pay for it. The beach is dirty, lots of trash and the most cigarette butts I've ever seen in one place. Paleokastrista beach is also jam packed with people and not much cleaner either so save your money and stick by the pool in the hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was a standard size—comfortable and clean, with everything I needed. While the decor felt a bit dated, everything was well-maintained and functional.

The highlight of the stay was definitely the breakfast. There was a wide variety of fresh options, and the quality exceeded expectations—definitely a strong point for the hotel.
