BOHOTEL Messonghi - Designer's Hotel in Moraitika

Our stay was a huge disappointment from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were told we couldn’t pay by credit or debit card, and although our room was promised within 30 minutes, we waited three hours. During that time, staff repeatedly pressured us to switch rooms midweek, despite us clearly stating we wanted the room we had booked months in advance.. When we finally entered the correct room, the beds were dirty and poorly made. The shower was defective, the knobs were glued in place with plastic in between, leaving the water scalding hot and impossible to adjust. Our complaint was laughed off. Exposed electrical wires in the bathroom created a dangerous situation, especially with moisture. Anyone taller than 1.85m has to bend under the shower!!!! The bathroom floor was also extremely slippery, causing my boyfriend to fall. The fridge was so loud we had to unplug it to sleep. Housekeeping often came very late (15:30–19:00). The hotel is located on a busy road, so there is constant noise. Breakfast was limited and poor quality, despite being prepaid we only went twice out of the seven days. Toiletries were not replenished. The fuse box made alarming noises as if something was burning; when we reported it, someone briefly looked at it at 23:00 with a screwdriver and left without fixing anything! We were even accused of stealing towels (?!?!?) when asking for clean ones, while other guests received them without issue. Eye-rolling and talking behind our backs completed the experience. To make matters even worse, when reading the hotel’s responses to reviews on Google Maps and ***********, it’s clear they are very defensive, rude, and dismissive. They deny every complaint and show no openness to feedback or take any accountability. This hotel is absolutely not worthy of four stars!!
