The hotel consists of three buildings with rooms, and one separate building where the reception is located. Since the reception is not marked in any way, it’s hard to notice if you’re arriving by car on your own. The reception is in the brown/beige building. Parking is free and there are plenty of spaces available.
The room is spacious with a large balcony. Towels are changed every other day. If you need beach towels, they can be rented at the reception.
The pool is clean and well-maintained. We were satisfied with both breakfast and dinner. Although the selection may seem limited, the food is genuinely tasty and there is something for everyone.
The beach is a 5-minute walk away, and right next to the hotel there is a store that deserves 5 stars – it has everything you need at reasonable prices.

Good food - nice choice of variety of dishes, very nice and clean swimming pool with warm water, very nice garden and very friendy staff. Beach is a walking distance and you get there through small streets among hotels - no large street to cross. In the nearby General Market you'll get food, drinks and even souvenirs.

Wonderful family hotel, the newly renovated rooms are very comfortable and nicely designed.
The host is absolutely kind, welcoming, it was a great pleasure meeting her.
Location is nice, only 5-10 minutes walking to the beach, very quiet.
The food was absolutely delicious. Dinner is plentiful. Highly recommend to book half board.

VERY DISAPPOINTING stay at Serena Hotel.
Be aware that the hotel is definitely NOT as nice as it appears on pictures. The food is simply average, so do not expect to eat anything great. The rooms clearly need cleanliness improvements. Be ready for dirty bedsheets (with old bloodstains on it in our case), dirty fridge as well as dirty shower curtain and an almost broken sink. Despite all that, the hotel manager did not do anything to make our stay more enjoyable and was more preoccupied about money-making. I therefore highly advise anyone wishing to have a nice holiday to avoid this place at all costs.

Outstanding Hotel!
We got a freshly modernized hotel room, very clean and cute - perfect for couples. The bed is very comfy and the air conditioner works perfectly.
The staff and hotel owners are super friendly. They will help you out in every case and also take care of special wishes (e.g. we dont eat pork meat, so they tell us which meal we can eat). Breakfast and dinner are delicious. Everyone will find a meal they like. Especially the dinner meals are super good, they serve traditional greek food, perfectly flavored.
The pool area is very clean and There are enough sunbeds.
Concerning the parking places: there are not many but you‘ll definitely find options to park your car ;)

A family run hotel with traditional food from own grown products. It was certainly a nice experience and we believe there is a future for this sort of holidays.
We enjoyed it very much. hopefully the season will be okay considering de Covid-pandemic.

Positive:
- clean room, close to the beach, quiet area, near to a big supermarket
Negative:
- dated calcium walls, dated furniture, dated bathroom, dated building. They need to replace the finishing
- all the TV channels are in German
- the food is ok, but not necessarily Greek style, mainly catering to German style
- troubles with bed bugs (saw this also in another review)
- difficult to find even with the gps
- booked halfboard, no drinks included at the dinner, even water was extra-charge
I would not recommend, does not worth the price if you are not German.
