Hotel room was lovely, the shower was gross. Love holidays is where we booked and the transfer bus left us off at the side of the road, we had to call the hotel to come get us. The hotel is up in the mountains above Bali which makes for a peaceful environment but think a car to get around was needed unless you want to do a lot of walking/use the minibus service to get to and from Bali. This was our first family vacation in Crete and we were surprised how friendly and helpful people in Greece are, especially mr. Stelios! Although the place was around 1.5 hour away from the airport, it was definitely worth coming here. Hospitable and friendly host, clean and fresh apartment, amazing coffee in the morning at the café and sweet small market on territory that has everything you need for breakfast, lunch or romantic evening. Stayed at this place in July 2022 with my 6 years old daughter, my sister and mum. Apartments which we were allocated I found really clean, renovated and equipped with all necessary devices. We stayed at Elpis apartments as a couple for 8 nights. Thanks to the staff for their kindness! The studios are large and clean and well equipped. They have enough cooking necessities. The studio has a large and comfortable bed, the soundproofing is very good, so we slept very well. You can rent a safe in the studio for 2 EUR per day. From the minute we arrived the family were attentive and always on hand. A great location only 10 minute sot one of the beaches and a 15 minute walk to the port. Popi, Stellios, Georgos and Mary were superb hosts and always willing offer advice on where to see and visit when asked. A real family business and all of our rooms were clean and with good sized balconies. We will be back!

I have just returned from a 1 week stay in Elpis with my 3 teenage daughters and I would highly recommend. Very good services and the host very welcoming, pool is clean and nice, except the rooms which are 2* how they say but can have more because it s clean and they give their best to have a nice holiday! They have a nice doberman, also you can rent cars but from what i saw it s quite expensive compared with others.

Great stay, great view. Stuff is a highlight: Konstantinos and Nicolas from the reception were really helpful with everything! If you have a late flight you can use hotel facilities like bathroom, shower, pool with no problem.

Beautiful hotel. It was clean, tidy and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. There was plenty to do at the hotel with 3 pools to choose from or the cove to swim in.

One of the most positively surprising experience recently. The hotel is close to the beach (less than 5 minutes walk), situated upon a small hill overlooking the local beach.
