I have a somewhat jaundiced view of this hotel after they charged me €70 to keep my room till 17:30 on my last day. I have never paid more than €35 at any other hotel. The Panormo Beach Hotel is a great place. The location is just next to a really nice beach and the town itself is full of nice tavernas and bars. The rooms are clean and functional. My daughter and I had a wonderful week here at Marelina Villas. It was lovely and quiet, the rooms were basic but clean. The staff (especially Athena) were great. The Greek people working here are very nice! It seems to me they are always ready to do something more for the guests. The view is great. I also like the level of hygiene. There's a small but cosy yard with a pool.

The apartment was big enough for my wife and myself, it was clean and was attended every two days. Philoxenia is located in the center of the village and three minutes walking distance to the beach. The management is incredibly helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to spend a lovely time in Panormo.

The apartment was spacious and very clean and included a washing machine. It was very close to the beautiful Venetian Harbor which is a must see. We were very comfortable. From the minute we arrived the family were attentive and always on hand. A great location only 10 minute sot one of the beaches and a 15 minute walk to the port. Popi, Stellios, Georgos and Mary were superb hosts and always willing offer advice on where to see and visit when asked. Situated in small Cretan village with outstanding restaurants, nice shops with small and safe nearby beaches. Weather was very hot which was a welcome break before the winter. Used inexpensive taxis rather than the local buses (overcrowded). Cannot speak too highly...
