We had a fantastic stay at Cyano Hotel! The room was spotless, the setting peaceful, and just a 3-minute walk to the beach and Plakias town. We had a lovely time at Arcus Suites and would definitely return. We were very well looked after and the accommodation is comfortable and atmospheric. We really liked being there!

Great place to rest - the hotel and the village, very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet, lush green and great to spend time away from crowds. Noticeably cooler than on the coast in full sunshine (serious advantage from my point of view) as it sits in mountains.

Beautiful oasis in a searing hot day. The suite was just beautiful. Comfortable bed, fierce shower, huge fridge. The weather was particularly hot and so we stayed by the lovely pool. Luckily we were able to find something to eat at a local taverna, there are more places at the lower town so do check on opening before you go.

Excellent venue! Location in a nice little town in the mountains, beautifully renovated historical building, cosy place as there are a limited number of suites, the suites are of excellent comfort and well maintained and they fully deliver what the description and the pictures promise, finally a sympathetic and efficient manager who makes sure everything runs smoothly.

This is a beautiful place. Our "room" was a huge suite, beautiful and comfortable. The people are very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are excellent. And the pool is a great relaxer. And the location! It's right in the middle of the loveliest part of Argyroupoli, yet is completely quiet at night.

My husband and I have different opinions. I loved it here, the breakfast was more than delicious, nice people! We were here at the end of October 2023 and stayed in the Ontis suite. This suite is very beautiful, but you first have to climb a staircase with high steps. So not suitable for older people or people with mobility problems. Although we were not guests of the hotel, Panos welcomed us with such kindness and hospitality. By ordering drinks, we were allowed to use the wonderful sunbeds on the beach. Everything was very friendly and relaxed –thank you Panos and the whole team!

First off the staff is absolutely wonderful!! The view is AMAZING! The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. Beds are comfy, the fridge has ample space for leftovers and lots of drinks and even enough room in the freezer for a bag of ice! The Hotel is located at a 25 min walking distance from the old town. There is no on site parking. The nearest free parking is 10 to 12 mins by walk. The family room is not appropriately designed. The hotel is great regarding the pool, the views, the beach access. The bedroom have a great dimension but the structure do not block the noise - namely during the night. So, the night experience wasn't the best. Avoid the rooms in the reception floor.

Very good room service, everything was perfectly clean. Been very much satisfyed by the food as well. The bus stop is pretty close by, making daytrips within comfortable reach and it's only a five to ten minute walk to the beach. Alltogether the whole experience has been great.

It was an amazing experience, the people are really nice. The treatements do wonders. I got helped so well by Evdokia and found what suited me, and got my amazing massages from Ioanna. When I come back to Rethimno I Will come here again.

Staying at the hotel for the second time we realized that is still a great hotel with some ups and downs. Ups: Service, location, pool, spacious room with kitchen and very friendly staff. Downs: The spa treatment are too expensive ( double the price of a regular treatment), coffee at breakfast is a disappointment and the beds are rather soft. Still worth going there but be aware of the downs.

We had a pleasant stay here. The location is excellent — just far enough from the noisy seafront to be peaceful, yet only a short walk to the beach and the old town. They also have a beach area. The pool area is cozy and inviting, and everything was generally clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful, which is not always a given in Crete. It was good and we feel relaxed after the treatment. Dian and Popi were gentle therapist. Evdokia was very friendly and professonial.

Visited the spa twice on my holiday. Totally relaxed experience, hubby even enjoyed the peace and quiet. The newSpa facilities are wonderful. Will go again. Evdokia explained everything well. Dina was an excellent masseuse. Totally chilled , talking a bit of Crete with me. Til next time, thank you aegos spa.

We loved our one night stay and wish we had more time to stay another night

Quiet property. No front desk but the owner is accessible via text. Location is great, in the old town but on a quiet street.

Great hotel, lovely room with nice bathroom, lovely courtyard with a pool which is often protected from the sun for a drink, a rooftop with chairs for sunbathing, a kitchen well stocked and lovely staff. No negatives. Incredibly central and clean

We stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend for a couple days. We had a great time! Location is amazing, right in the old city with great romantic atmosphere of narrow streets and cozy places. It has a parking nearby so it's also not an issue if you come with a car and plan to do some road trips. Highly recommend this hotel!!! The rooms are individually decorated and beautiful. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant and they were among the best meals of our whole vacation! Service was also excellent!

A beautiful property. The room was well maintained, clean, spacious. The amenities were great and thoughtful. The staff were friendly and really gracious and helpful. It was a lovely experience.

We read about this hotel as being “spectacular”. And it is!! Everything about Avli Lounge is beautiful. Stellios2 was the most fabulous staff member. The hotel is funky for the young at heart. We will remember our time here forever !

The Avli Lounge apartments are beautiful! We stayed in the Candy Suite for about four days. As mentioned in several reviews, location is excellent, and we were able to walk everywhere. Both Stelios' and Nickos were always available and helpful for everything. Do note that there is no elevator as the hotel is in Old Town and they preserve the structures. That also means you have cobblestone streets...

The property is beautiful, loved the large windows that opened to the courtyard, beautiful courtyard and spiral staircase. However, the bathroom smelled like rotten eggs, sewage issues?? The breakfast was good , loved the honey comb display but food was often cold.

Lovely hotel in the heart of old town Rethymno Lovely place in the heart of old town a straight shot back walking from the recommended parking.

The only thing that let the property down was the lighting in the bathroom was very low and the shower was cramped with the roof beam running through it so i kept hitting my head other than that excellent and the staff were great.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Rimondi Boutique Hotel and it was as perfect as the first time. The customer service is excellent and Room 7 was excellent as it was spread over two floors with a balcony overlooking the street and additional outside sunbathing area which wasn’t overlooked. Although situated in the old town and very close to the restaurants and shops, you do not get any noise...

Beautiful location and ease of access. Unfortunately parking is hard if you organise a hire car. Amenities are beautiful and the welcome gifts and morning breakfast were great. Just off the main markets and plenty of fine dining options literally steps from the hotel.

Miscommunication about the parking was a bit of a problem but got sorted out eventually. The manager and staff’s hospitality made up for any inconvenience.

Excellent location in the Old Town. Came in the winter so it was too cold to sit out in the courtyard, but it looked cozy.

The hotel is well located in the old quarter, but the facilities are quite outdated.

This accommodation offers a very cozy and classic atmosphere. A simple yet refined breakfast is provided, and the quiet surroundings are ideal for relaxation.

The room was very nice and clean. The staff was also very friendly and had good hints for eating out. Breakfast was a god variety and yummy.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Comfy beds. Room cleaned regularly. Staff helpful. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Lovely restaurant attached to hotel.

Really comfy hotel room. Friendly check in and helpful staff. Nice location short walk to the beach. Sea view from balcony. Delicious breakfast!

A large hotel with usual facilities. Room was fine, though shower needs improvement as it wets the bathroom floor. Good choice of breakfast items. Location on main road not seafront so some road noise. No parking. (Though we went to the wrong hotel on arrival and they said we could use their underground car park for €7 a day).

Charged an extra 30 Euro above stated 70 Euros because of the type of room we had booked. The room was not that brilliant. A large bed but very little space to put your clothing for a 10 day stay. We mostly lived out of a suitcase. The view was OK but not exciting. Very very noisy from the main road. The food was hit and miss, and not that good. As for the entertainment in the evening I would give...

We stayed for a week here recently and had a great time, great location with just short walk into town. Staff are friendly and happy to answer any questions. We had bed and breakfast only but this was more than enough. Plenty to choose from. Would stay here again
