Awesome location ! 1 minute from the beach and a good place to start a hike the opposite way. The service and staff was 🤩 I felt like I was talking to family. The rooms had everything included. Perfect place.

The hotel staff is very polite and attentive. The hotel is very clean. The location of the hotel is very good, close to the beach. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is more than enough. I definitely recommend it.

10 days stay in September 2024. Room small, but clean, everyday cleaned with fresh towels. Quiet, air conditioning included. Located on the quiet small street with no traffic. Our room was on ground floor with small.balxony from the street side, but very quiet. Fantastic breakfast seevice with the big range of food.

We stayed at the Louise apartment. Everything was perfect and the unobstructed sea view from the large balcony was spectacular. We could hear the waves at night, which was very relaxing, and we could stare at the stars (half balcony was roofless, I guess for this reason). We also very much appreciate that Thalassa apartments allows pets, and we could have our pet friends, Jolene and Navajo with us...

Excellent location right on the beach in the centre of the resort but wasn't noisy. Staff were very helpful, friendly and hard working. We were half board and found the food to be excellent with good choices at both breakfast and dinner. Access to the shared pool at the neighbouring hotel was also very good with the pool area relaxed and to a high standard.

The food is so good and the staff is amazing. Ecxellent service and the view from the reastaurant is spot on. We’ve been here many times and hopefully we get back again. Our absolutely favourite in Plakias.

I've just returned from a wonderful stay at the Alianthos Beach Hotel/Anthos Apartments. I have visited this family run hotel a number of times over the past 15 years and it never disappoints. With recent renovations including the seaside restaurant right by the wonderful Plakias beach it just gets even better. Lovely hotel, scenic setting, welcoming staff and very responsive indeed. Family run, can’t fault it. Like many Cretan hotels, they only do breakfast, not evening meals.

Amazing hotel on the west side of Plakias, close to the center, opposite the beach with a stunning view of the Libyan Sea. Spacious and spotlessly clean rooms make the stay at the hotel enjoyable. The breakfast is amazing and the staff is very helpful with a smile. We definately stay here again and we recommend it to anyone visiting Plakias.

Hard to say where to start: the people working in the hotel were extremely helpful and nice; there are several comfortable beaches in walking distance; the view from the balcony at the seas and sky has no comparison; the breakfast was plentiful and tasty.... perfect place to spend a lazy, peaceful vacation

We stayed for 10 days during our vacation in Greece and enjoyed it very much :). It's a smaller hotel with super friendly staff. Rooms were cozy and cleaned every day. Breakfast is served in Myrtis hotel just next door. The pool on the roof is available to use for free along with the pool in their neighbouring hotel Myrtis. Just a few minutes by foot and you get to the centre of Plakias with all amenities...

Very good breakfast, quality beds, very friendly staff, nice little town - but windy. So rent a car is almost a must to have a pleasant holiday. From Plakias there is also a boat to some southern beaches.

Beautiful clean hotel with good proximity to Plakias and plenty of free parking. The breakfast buffet has plenty of options with different types of eggs, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh vegetables, Greek yogurt with many add-ins, cereal, and numerous pastry options, fresh juices, and an espresso machine. We are very glad we chose to stay at this hotel and we will stay again if we’re back in the area.

Yet another great 2 weeks at Sofia (3rd visit) , location great, rooms clean and comfortable, great choice for breakfast, nothing more to add other than booked again for next year, thanks to all the team at sofia, see you next year :-).

Great and very friendly family run Hotel with a super breakfast buffet. Free parking around the corner as well as access to a lot of restaurants and shops. Highly recommended if you look for accommodation in the area of Plakias.

Great location within resort. Rooms are well decorated and equipped. The beds are enormous and very comfortable. Rooms are cleaned every day and bedding and towels changed every 3 days. Family run to a very high standard. Excellent breakfast every day with lots of choice.

I stayed at this hotel three times and found it great. Central location. Very clean, comfortable rooms. The staff tries hard and helps with any issues. Breakfast buffet was very good, I could find everything I wanted. Plakias is a beautiful place with plenty outstanding beaches and walking routes nearby. If I return to Plakia, I’ll book this hotel again for sure!

Were there in summer 2019. The hotel is located on a steep road about 50m above the rest of the town, with a beautiful view of the town and the mountains. After 3 minutes you are already on a beautiful beach and have various shops and numerous great restaurants nearby. Jannis, the owner, gave us a very friendly welcome. Every day he speaks to all of his guests, and every day he taught us something...

If you like it quiet and relaxed, you should definitely go on holiday here. The owners Janni and Irini are very nice hosts and we felt very comfortable. The only thing that may have been mentioned is for people who are hard at work, It is less suitable because the access is a bit cumbersome, but only a small piece. But for everyone else highly recommended.
