We had a fantastic stay at Cyano Hotel! The room was spotless, the setting peaceful, and just a 3-minute walk to the beach and Plakias town. We stayed for 10 days during our vacation in Greece and enjoyed it very much :). It's a smaller hotel with super friendly staff. Rooms were cozy and cleaned every day. Breakfast is served in Myrtis hotel just next door. The pool on the roof is available to use for free along with the pool in their neighbouring hotel Myrtis. Just a few minutes by foot and you get to the centre of Plakias with all amenities...

Very good breakfast, quality beds, very friendly staff, nice little town - but windy. So rent a car is almost a must to have a pleasant holiday. From Plakias there is also a boat to some southern beaches.

Excellent location right on the beach in the centre of the resort but wasn't noisy. Staff were very helpful, friendly and hard working. We were half board and found the food to be excellent with good choices at both breakfast and dinner. Access to the shared pool at the neighbouring hotel was also very good with the pool area relaxed and to a high standard.

The food is so good and the staff is amazing. Ecxellent service and the view from the reastaurant is spot on. We’ve been here many times and hopefully we get back again. Our absolutely favourite in Plakias.

Beautiful clean hotel with good proximity to Plakias and plenty of free parking. The breakfast buffet has plenty of options with different types of eggs, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh vegetables, Greek yogurt with many add-ins, cereal, and numerous pastry options, fresh juices, and an espresso machine. We are very glad we chose to stay at this hotel and we will stay again if we’re back in the area.

Great location within resort. Rooms are well decorated and equipped. The beds are enormous and very comfortable. Rooms are cleaned every day and bedding and towels changed every 3 days. Family run to a very high standard. Excellent breakfast every day with lots of choice.

Were there in summer 2019. The hotel is located on a steep road about 50m above the rest of the town, with a beautiful view of the town and the mountains. If you like it quiet and relaxed, you should definitely go on holiday here. The owners Janni and Irini are very nice hosts and we felt very comfortable. The only thing that may have been mentioned is for people who are hard at work, It is less suitable because the access is a bit cumbersome, but only a small piece. But for everyone else highly recommended.

It’s a really lovely hotel, situated at the end of Plakias but within easy walking distance (about 10min). The nicest part of the beach with beach cafés is 3min away. They serve breakfast on a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea and delicious dinners are available as well. Clean rooms and friendly staff as well. We had a wonderful stay :)

I stayed at Crete Mare probably about 20 total nights between my visits to plakias in 2021 and 2022. The rooms are very clean, the showers are a little bigger than most in crete and have glass enclosures that prevent the whole bathroom from getting wet. This was an unexpected find in a very quiet city on the south shore of Crete. The rooms are big and very clean. Strong wifi. Great view. A very nice breakfast and the staff are amazing people. Its nice hotel in nice Plakias area. WiFi is low in hotel. We had an offer from TUI with breakfast and dinner - but only breakfast is in the hotel and dinner is on vocher in Gorgona restaurant but witout drinks you have to pay extra. And hotel has some addidrional building few minutes from main hotel building.

My wife and I got back from a week's holiday at this hotel yesterday. We really enjoyed it. Staff were helpful and friendly and every thing was very clean and tidy. The pool, which we never used, was very deep deep at one end - 2.7 m I think. There was nothing wrong with it, but the sea and beaches nearby were so nice, we went there instead. Wonderful first solo holiday. Staff were so welcoming and changed my room for me due to back issues. Room was basic though very clean and comfortable. Only thing missing were coffee making facilities. Would come back in a heartbeat. Recommended.

Staff was great we enjoyed the food I think the main draw back was it’s a very popular spot on hot days and there isn’t designated parking for people staying at the resort, so sometimes when we would come back it was really hard to find a parking spot

First time I've stayed here, but I've been to Plakias many times. Stella has it's regulars and it's easy to see why. Basic accommodation but lovingly cared for. Owner is a great guy. Would certainly think of using Stella again.

We stayed at the Louise apartment. Everything was perfect and the unobstructed sea view from the large balcony was spectacular. We could hear the waves at night, which was very relaxing, and we could stare at the stars (half balcony was roofless, I guess for this reason). We also very much appreciate that Thalassa apartments allows pets, and we could have our pet friends, Jolene and Navajo with us...
