Where to stay in Sfakaki

This was such an incredible resort. The staff is absolutely impeccable and their beachside/poolside service was amazing. The buffet was impressive and the food was absolutely delicious. I’d go back over and over.

Amazing resort and beach. Food was epic and the service around the pool really great. Just make sure to download the group app and book your restaurants as soon as you are confirmed. Got upgraded to a swim up room too so that was pretty special.

Mine and my partner’s stay at the Luxme white was absolutely fantastic from the location to the food and facilities were amazing. Everyday there was always something to do with amazing evening activities for everyone to get involved with the rooms were superb with amazing air conditioning. Would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be returning in the future

Very clean but nowhere to put anything in room. Season was ending pool had a green tide mark round it and lots of seat pads/loungers were torn or damaged. Not 5 stars – there’s room for improvement. The food and drinks are below expectations. Most drinks taste artificial and the buffet selection could be better. The staff are generally very friendly and helpful. There aren’t many activities at the hotel, and a taxi to Rethymno takes about 15 minutes (€25). The rooms are nice and comfortable, though.

The rooms were fairly clean, decent size. The AC didnt work and we couldn't get any channels on the TV. Service was great. The main downside which isnt necessarily the hotels fault, but its built on a very very steep hill which was really difficult to walk up. There is few supermarkets close by, and about 10 minute walk from the closest resteraunt. 20 minute drive on the bus to the city.

First the negative. The hotel is at the top of a very steep hill which like us (oldies) is a struggle. Fortunately we hired a scooter to get us up the hill. Very good accomodation in the middle of Crete. Clean rooms and a very nice pool and bar. Cleaning and fresh towels every other day. Rethymnon is only 10 mins away by car. You really need a rental car.
