Apartment Hotels in Kefalos

One of the loveliest, friendliest, good with children, family run places we have stayed in. Very Greek 🇬🇷, basic, spotlessly clean, lovely bed linen. Close to a beach and a couple of tavernas. Very quiet. We hope to visit again for our third visit next year.

We (a couple) tried Kefalos for the first time (regular visitors to Kos) this year and picked the Manolis studios, just on a whim. Our stay was absolutely fine and we found lots of spectacular scenery, because the best beaches are round this side of the island. It isn't the best resort (Kefalos) for those with teenage (or thereabouts) kids who demand a lot of activities, as it's more an adult/seniors...

We had a great 2 weeks stay at Manolis Studios. The rooms were basic but cleaned regularly and comfortable. The only downside was that the bathroom flooded every time we had a shower, so wet feet everytime we went into the bathroom. Awesome place to stay - lovely family and apartments. Cleaned regularly and everything you need for your holiday. Air conditioning was fabulous. Amazing BBQ night hosted by the family. Superb location, close to all amenities. Hire a quad from Anna’s car rental and dcplore! Loved Manolis Studios.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in August we had a very relaxing holiday rooms were cleaned every couple of days pool area lovely no fighting for sunbeds at all there are plenty to go round as it’s a small family run complex The family are lovely nothing is a bother to them Friday night BBQ is a must really good value and grandmas stuffed vine leaves are wonderful good value at 13 euros Would definitely...

Definitely 2 ** but Clean enough. Rooms okay apart from being inundated by Ants on the balcony we were ground floor visits by Cockroaches on numerous occasions in the room& outside, bathroom from the 80;s in need of full referb small shower tray not much room to wash , which totally floods the whole bathroom floor. We went self catering asked to hire a toaster they do not provide this which is a must...

Just returned from the albatross. All I can say is wow. Just fabulous. Lunch food simply amazing..... already booked for next year. Thank you. X

Wow…everything about the albatross is just special ..,the place is immaculate with maid service everyday …the staff are the friendliest we have ever come across …Maria ..Kristo…Tula..manolis…yanni and I did not get the name of the maid but she was amazing also …we miss you guys and I actually cried when leaving …(I don’t cry) this is listed as a 2 star hotel with 5 star staff …,defo not a 2 star …everything...

First stay at this accommodation and what hits you is the stunning locality of the property across the road from the beach with palm trees lining the route to the bay & harbour all this is clearly stunning from your balcony if your at the front of the property. Once again we returned to Albatross and had the most relaxing holiday. Maria and staff are so welcoming and look after everyone so well. They cannot do enough for you. The best place, beautifully clean, the most wonderful location. Already booked to go back

My wife and I stayed at Albatross Studios in August 2025. We booked it because it was family run, just a few apartments, self catering and close to the beach and restaurants. Writing this review while I’m still here at Albatross Studios, have 2 more days to go. What a lovely place to stay, so relaxing and peaceful. Clean. Always a sunbed available. Lots of choice of drinks and food. Large portions and so tasty. Friendly staff. Cannot fault it one bit. Will definitely return.

Warm, welcoming, and spotlessly clean, this place had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The friendly hosts, cozy atmosphere, and great location made it feel like a true home away from home.

Absolutely beautiful !! We visited Kos for the very first time with my fiancé and we adored the place . The rooms were spotless & and the lady there she was so nice , always with a smile on her face ready to assist us . She even gave us some recommendations for good local restaurants. We had a great time in Kos & were definitely coming back next summer .

Amazing place very clean and comfortable with all the facilities that you need for your vacation. Really helpful owner and made us feel welcome. Would definitely visit again and really recommend it

Great quite location, close to shops and bars with a sea view. good size pool. now with a pool bar

We stayed here for two weeks in August 2015. Caryl was the British girl running the pool bar and she was incredibly helpful and friendly. The apartments were basic but spacious, clean and well equipped. The pool and surrounding area were clean and a good size for the complex. Kefalos is a lovely friendly resort with many excellent restaurants, good beaches and lots of boat trips etc to keep the kids...

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very welcoming, and the rooms were clean and cleaned every day. We had a sea-view room with a lovely terrace, which was perfect for having breakfast in the morning. The room had a small kitchenette, a fridge, air conditioning, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient...

A cosy holiday from start to finish and the most famous accommodation credo is also true here: Location, location, location! 😎 You can reach Irene Studios straight from the airport or Kos Town by public bus (5.-), small supermarket across the street (open from 8am-1am in the morning!), car rental across the street, excellent Greek restaurant next door that rents umbrellas for 7.-/day! Incredibly nice owner, always helpful with everything. A wonderful view of the sea, which is 30 meters from the accommodation. The rooms are furnished with everything you need, we always like to come back here. It includes the possibility to rent a car and drive around the whole island.

Good position in front of the wonderful beach and sea of kefalos. Apartment is ok maybe in need of a renewal.

The owner speaks little English, but makes an incredible effort to accommodate and adapt to every request. Very clean, on request daily: cleaning, fresh towels and even bed linen. Unfortunately a lot of mosquitoes. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets and town beach 5 minutes walk. For the beautiful beaches you need a vehicle.

We really liked the EFI apartments. Close to the sea, clean, great cleaning.

Beautiful clean refreshing sea, uncrowded beaches. Pleasant accommodation corresponding to the studio category with regular cleaning. The stay is a bit spoiled by mosquitoes and missing insect nets.
