I had a fantastic stay at Athinoula Hotel! The room was clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect — close to everything you need yet peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was also great, with a good variety to start the day right. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Great family welcome. Clean rooms with several sheet and towel changes in the week. Beside restaurants bars and supermarket and a very shirt walk to the beach. A lovely spot and I totally recommend staying here

Just got back from an incredible stay at this beautiful hotel in Greece! The views were absolutely stunning, the souvlaki was the best I've ever had, and the hotel was really clean. The owners treated us like family, making the experience even more special. Highly recommend this place!

The best accomodation in Kefalos, probably in all of Kos island. Barbara is one of the best guests I've had so far, very nice and welcoming. She was always available to give advice and make the stay the most comfortable possible. I would recommend it to anybody, anytime!

Perfect location, right on to the beach. Within walking distance to bar, restaurants, shop and car hire. Main road wasn't too busy. Friendly helpful staff. Had to walk half a mile for a cup of coffee in the morning as coffee machine broken and no milk for at least 2 days. Room was small, for 2 people. No room to open suitcases or store them. Bins emptied daily, but towels and bedding only changed...

Our room was small. The bathroom was even smaller. Feet in the shower cubicle when you sat on the toilet. Two mornings in a row there was no milk at breakfast and the coffee machine was out of order aswell. Having to pay extra for the air conditioning dosnt seem right in this day and age. The staff were friendly enough but hotel felt dated.

Had room with side sea view.. small but ok. Wasn’t staying on a package and stayed 2 nights. Had lunch in restaurant and it was good.. BUT… The quality of the breakfast is very very poor -Suggesting they provide it because they have to (package guests). My fourth summer coming to Fourtounis Hotel. It is a beautiful hotel run by the most special family. Breakfast is served in the morning with fresh fruit, homemade cookies and cakes, jams, eggs, Greek yogurt, and so much more. The hotel is peaceful and located steps away from Kefalos Bay. I love coming here every summer it is so hard to have to leave I am always at peace when at Fourtounis.

You get what you pay for, and for what this 10 day holiday cost we found our accommodation to be excellent value. We brought a kettle but as we were out and about didn’t need it often. Amazing hotel managed by a wonderful family. They're always willing to help and we felt very welcomed. They have a lively bar by the pool area with ice cold beer ans snaks. The prices are more than affordable and the service 10/10. I absolutely loved it and will definitely return next year

Eva and George are perfect hosts. The property has large apartments and are reasonably priced. 10 minutes walk to the harbour/beach. Lovely cake left in the apartment and bottled water on arrival. Nice leaving present of fridge magnets and olive oil soap. Thank you, we have already recommended to friends and family.

For the price, you get really good accommodation with a bathroom and kitchen, air conditioning in the bedrooms, and a balcony!

I'm very pleased and pleasantly surprised. The rooms are small but adequate, very clean and modest. The kitchen has everything you need. There's a safe and air conditioning. The view is seaside, and the beach is a 10-minute walk away. Eva, the hostess, is very nice. For this price, towels and bed linen are changed every other day, and cleaning is done every other day. One of the loveliest, friendliest, good with children, family run places we have stayed in. Very Greek 🇬🇷, basic, spotlessly clean, lovely bed linen. Close to a beach and a couple of tavernas. Very quiet. We hope to visit again for our third visit next year.

We (a couple) tried Kefalos for the first time (regular visitors to Kos) this year and picked the Manolis studios, just on a whim. Our stay was absolutely fine and we found lots of spectacular scenery, because the best beaches are round this side of the island. It isn't the best resort (Kefalos) for those with teenage (or thereabouts) kids who demand a lot of activities, as it's more an adult/seniors...
