Where to stay in Kefalos

Our second visit to an Ikos resort, Ikos Aria exceeded our lofty expectations. The hotel is swanky, clean, with fantastic facilities including spacious rooms, multiple pools (some adults only), delicious food across multiple restaurants and cuisines, a sandy beach and well-equipped gym. The staff are the real highlight though, always asking how they can improve the experience and never leaving you...

Everything was as expected from a top 5* resort. Stuff attentive, well managed, facilities well organized and tidy.

Having previously stayed at Ikos Dassia we were a bit disappointed at Aria. As a couple travelling without children and non-deluxe, Dassia is a much better option. Very good hotel. We stayed here for a week and everything was a pleasure. People working here are very nice, also the price is convenient. I highly recommend to come here and visit the whole island. Lovely hotel, but is up the hill & there are lots of stairs, no lifts. The main part of the hotel is away from the rooms, which was great because the rooms were super quiet. Will definitely return.

A fabulous two week stay here, had room 505, very spacious, plenty of storage, amazingly clean, cleaners come in every day, lovely ladies, change towels/bedding every two days. Easily the best meals we had in Kefalos. The service was superb and the food really was something else. Both the grilled Octopus (with bacon jam) and Vegan Burger were some of best food we have ever eaten. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. Sydney bar & grill was just fantastic. The food was amazing the service and staff are so friendly and even got to use the shishas which was a nice treat indeed! Amazing music choices too. Came twice during our week to Kos, amazing cocktails but on the slightly higher side for Kefalos but very very good. Had the buffalo burger both times and quiet possibly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Also had the apple pie for dessert and it was very good. Highly recommend coming!

The best accomodation in Kefalos, probably in all of Kos island. Barbara is one of the best guests I've had so far, very nice and welcoming. She was always available to give advice and make the stay the most comfortable possible. I would recommend it to anybody, anytime!

Our room was small. The bathroom was even smaller. Feet in the shower cubicle when you sat on the toilet. Two mornings in a row there was no milk at breakfast and the coffee machine was out of order aswell. Having to pay extra for the air conditioning dosnt seem right in this day and age. My fourth summer coming to Fourtounis Hotel. It is a beautiful hotel run by the most special family. Breakfast is served in the morning with fresh fruit, homemade cookies and cakes, jams, eggs, Greek yogurt, and so much more. The hotel is peaceful and located steps away from Kefalos Bay. I love coming here every summer it is so hard to have to leave I am always at peace when at Fourtounis.

You get what you pay for, and for what this 10 day holiday cost we found our accommodation to be excellent value. We brought a kettle but as we were out and about didn’t need it often. Amazing hotel managed by a wonderful family. They're always willing to help and we felt very welcomed. They have a lively bar by the pool area with ice cold beer ans snaks. The prices are more than affordable and the service 10/10. I absolutely loved it and will definitely return next year

We (a couple) tried Kefalos for the first time (regular visitors to Kos) this year and picked the Manolis studios, just on a whim. Awesome place to stay - lovely family and apartments. Cleaned regularly and everything you need for your holiday. Air conditioning was fabulous. Amazing BBQ night hosted by the family. Superb location, close to all amenities. Hire a quad from Anna’s car rental and dcplore! Loved Manolis Studios.

Definitely 2 ** but Clean enough. Rooms okay apart from being inundated by Ants on the balcony we were ground floor visits by Cockroaches on numerous occasions in the room& outside, bathroom from the 80;s in need of full referb small shower tray not much room to wash , which totally floods the whole bathroom floor. We went self catering asked to hire a toaster they do not provide this which is a must...

Absolutely beautiful !! We visited Kos for the very first time with my fiancé and we adored the place . The rooms were spotless & and the lady there she was so nice , always with a smile on her face ready to assist us . She even gave us some recommendations for good local restaurants. We had a great time in Kos & were definitely coming back next summer .

We stayed here for two weeks in August 2015. Caryl was the British girl running the pool bar and she was incredibly helpful and friendly. The apartments were basic but spacious, clean and well equipped. The pool and surrounding area were clean and a good size for the complex. Kefalos is a lovely friendly resort with many excellent restaurants, good beaches and lots of boat trips etc to keep the kids...
