Hotel Manos in Naousa

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel.
I had booked a stay for 17–24 August 2014, but 4 days before arrival, my son suffered a life-threatening accident on Punda Beach in Paros. He was urgently transferred to a hospital in Athens, then medically repatriated by plane to France, where he remained hospitalised for four months.

I informed the hotel immediately of this emergency.
Despite the situation, they charged the full amount and refused any gesture of goodwill.

This occurred in peak season, when hotels in Paros are fully booked.
It is therefore very likely that the room was re-sold, meaning the hotel may have been paid twice for the same stay, while my son was fighting for his life.

I found the lack of empathy and flexibility in such a dramatic situation particularly shocking.
I do not recommend this hotel.

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and didn’t have a great experience. Although it was clean it was very dated . The breakfasts were shocking compared to the other hotels we have stayed in on our trip . The pool floor was green around the edges and one morning after rain it was completely green. The owners were not friendly and although we were booked in for 4 nights they said it was only 3nights and on our final day they moved my daughter and son in law to a 2* hotel next door as they said they had a group booking, we too were a family booking.
When we complained they accused the travel company who have assured us we were booked for 4 nights. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and wouldn’t trust the owners.
