The Kanathos Pigi Hotel was an excellent find, a truly fabulous hotel with outstanding facilities and service, just a few minutes’ drive out of Nafplio! We had a family wedding in Nafplio and stayed here for two weeks in August

What a surprise it turned out to be! The hotel itself is charming and comfortable, with great rooms and a perfect location in the heart of Nafplio, Greece’s first capital city

You’re greeted by a stunning panoramic view of the city, with the majestic Venetian fortress of Palamidi right across from you, perched on a 216-meter-high hill

But the real magic happens on the 4th floor roof garden. When I went up there for dinner, I was absolutely blown away

Loved staying here. Be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs to get to reception, but if you stay in one of the lower rooms you will be able to enter at Entrance B, which is further downhill and easier to get to.
