Even if the building and furniture are old, this is a nice hotel, 1 min from the beach, friendly staff with a very good pool (big and always clean). However when we came, probably due to COVID-19, there was no bar/restaurant open at the hotel. We could take food and drinks from the places across the street and eat/drink at the pool 👌

Great hotel to stay at!! Loved our stay, and the views were absolutely fantastic. Be warned, the hill going up to the hotel (if you are driving there in a car) is a bit difficult to maneuver and park up there. Outside of that logistical note, the stay was excellent, facilities were on point, and the manager was kind and welcoming!

The room was clean and big, service was the excellent. Great price. We had a balcony with an amazing view. Not very far from the old town. Mrs Evaggelia is very sweet and has a beautiful garden.

Easy, good price, clean, enough space for two people. But there were no additionall blankets, no hair dryer, uncomfortable bed (it was too soft, so we were laying like a banana). The hotel is situated on a very steep hill, not every car and driver can reach this location. In the direct enviroment there are no taverns like you may expect. You have to walk about 20min to the ancient town where the taverns...

The hotel is located at the hill foot of the old castle of Nafplio. Rooms are very spacious and clean and the prices are more than reasonable. Service is excellent. The only downside I could see is that is not easily accessible by foot due to uphill road. Other than that is highly recommended.

Shower had corrosion. Room faced an internal patio, sadly used by smokers, so the smell enters the room. Water fro faucet undrinkable - salty... Breakfast staff did no allow to fill our water bottles with the drinkable water served. Reception didn't seem surprised.

The hotel is on the other side of Nafplio away from the center and water front. The hotel is old and has a weird smell. It needs to be renovated. There are no amenities at the hotel and parking is difficult to find. Our kids tried the free breakfast and they didn’t care for it. The beds were not comfortable at all. The furniture is old and non functional. What we paid for the hotel was too much!

This hotel was beautiful and we had excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious with all local ingredients and authentic dishes. It was great to stay right in the middle of Old Nafplio with easy access to everything. We loved our stay and would absolutely come back again.

Jelena helped check us in and was so welcoming. The drinks and breakfast at the restaurant were amazing. Everything was a short walk. I would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is really quaint with wonderful views. The staff is amazing helped me with the suitcases. The breakfast was very lavish for €13. There are stairs though to navigate but great location, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

The hotel and room were absolutely fine. The location posed a bit of a problem related to parking. The hotel did their best to provide us with instructions and advice on where to park, but it was still a bit of a headache. Once we were parked and checked in, everything was lovely.

Great service and delicious breakfast

It was a fairly average B&B experience. There was no elevator, so large boxes needed to be carried manually. However, the room was clean and the balcony had a great view.

We booked a double bed but was told on arrival only two singles available. The receptionist did her best, put a topper on the two singles. The restaurant she highly recommended was closed, Saturday night. The shower doors didn't close, it was generally unclean as on photos. I appreciate you get what you pay for but I feel this was somewhat less for what we paid.

We stayed in the ground floor room with the internal stairs. First of all, if you are claustrophobic or are over 1.80, it would be better to stay in another room. The room, although clean, needs renovation and the air conditioner probably needs cleaning. The place is humid. Very good location as it is just outside the center of the old town. The staff were very helpful and kind. As far as the rooms are considered they were somewhat clean ( thank god the bathroom was clean 🤣) my sheets were clean but my friends sheets had some stains of blood I believe but nothing too serious.

The Avra hotel in Nafplion is a lovely little boutique hotel located within walking distance to Old Town, a plethora of restaurants, shopping, cafes, bakeries and supermarkets. While located on a busy road on one side, you cannot hear the traffic at all, making for a restful sleep. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms large. The hotel is extremely clean. It is a cool little place.
