Where to stay in Pirgos

One possible improvement, the private pools are not heated. When we stayed this resulted in the water being very cold. Looked beautiful but not enjoyable to actually go in.

The highlight of Santorini was this hotel/spa. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated with absolute royalty. I can’t say I’ve ever had better service anywhere and I’ve traveled quite a bit. Santorini is a beautiful island, and this place is absolutely worth it. My wife & I had a beautiful time staying here before and for our wedding day. The management team were very kind, accommodating and welcoming. Amazing service and one of the best views in Pygros. The breakfast provided was amazing. Had the best fried eggs, vanilla cakes, and juices of my life here. Lovely property in an idyllic location. Access is not suitable for those with mobility issues, a lot of steps to climb to finally reach, but well worth the climb. Overall accommodation was ok Hot tub was lovely and as long as you didn't look down, the view was great. At night the view was lovely. Room was very small ..toilet door didn't close and the shower overflowed into the room, we had to make a barricade of towels to stop the flooding ... we were only staying there 3 days before moving to Oia, so we made it work.

I wanted to give the hotel a 4.5 star only because our room (Junior Suite) was a bit tight. Ultimately decided on 5 because it was newly renovated in 2016, clean, washroom was spacious, it's a quick walk to Pyrgos (so beautiful) and the manager, Christos, was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was just okay but enough for us. Overall I would be back but I would book a bigger room.

We needed a place for one night before catching a ferry to Ios. Probably one of the best view on the island. The suites are beautiful, spacious, comfortable with a great terrace equipped with a private jacuzzi or a private swimming pool. On top of this, the whole staff makes everything he can to arrange excursions, car rental, provide you with good adresses to go and give you valuable advice to allow you to live great moments on the island.

I would have given it a five but despite being the luxury suite with Pvt pool we weren't able to enjoy it as it didn't have temperature control and the wind was quite chilly. The place is not for people who want to be near the hustle and bustle of the main parts. Although it's just 10-15min from there by cab. Service wish excellent.
