Breakfast was fresh with many options. We stayed in room 204, with a beautiful balcony view of the Aegean Sea. Yanni, the front desk manager was wonderful, and very helpful. This was our first time overseas and Aqua Blue definitely made it an amazing vacation!

The room was adequate, the food wasn’t bad although the staff had nothing better to do but make things up that it’s unsafe for us to drink or eat around the pool area unless food or drinks were purchased onsite. Kept being watched upon and made feel uncomfortable. It’s been my second time staying here and it’s changed for the worst as the staff mentioned things have changed in the last year.

Had a pleasant stay here in this calm place. Situated in Perissa, it’s at a walkable distance from the black sand beach. Takes around 5-10 minutes to walk. Thera Mare is a lovely quiet hotel, ideal for what we were after - somewhere to rest and enjoy some peace and quiet. Very cozy family-run hotel with a great pool area complete with a bar that offers some food options for those that would prefer to just lay around the pool all day long. The amenities in the room were somewhat aged, but it had direct access to a little porch by the pool side. The window panes are pretty old, they don't shut tight enough and the sometimes terrible noise of passing motorbikes and ATVs...

Location is good, difficult at night times to travel in public transport. Room was good with a view but Bathrooms are very small and conjusted. And couple of rooms in our group including ours was having drainage smell. Was difficult to enter even with a room freshener spray. Swimming pool, snooker board and breakfast facility was good.

Very simple small village, bar closes at 10pm, thebad thing is that the check out is at 10 am, the pool is very big and nice and close to bus stop, supermarket sklavenitis and local food restaurant.

As I'm a bit stupid I parked where I shouldn't and my car got stucked in the sand :( Was in that moment when mama Kula, her son and other neighbors came to rescue, and I cannot thank them more for the help. Omg… this place is everything we wanted and a lot more. We wanted real Greece and we got it. Our room was spotless, fantastic air con and the shower was fab, hot and powerful. It is very basic with twin beds, dressing table, a small dressing area, a tiny bathroom with a shower attached to the wall. And a fridge. We are fed up of high end resorts with no character. The owner is so nice and helpful. The place has everything you need and good Wifi. The shower is a little uncomfortable cause is in the corner of the bathroom on top of everything but for the price is great. It’s very clean, room is small and it looks a bit like a set from a **** movie but it a good way Breakfast is very basic, not that amazing Pool is small so if the hotel is full there’s not really much privacy or space Overall it’s a good hotel for the price tho

Clean and tidy daily. Location was absolutely perfect in Perissa. We missed the check in time due to a late arrival. We called a number that was left and the young lady who worked at reception had to wake up, drive and come to check us in out of hours. We truely appreciated her. Would stay again!

Myself and my two sons had a wonderful stay in Divelia Hotel. The staff, especially Regina, were lovely, the air conditioned rooms spotlessly made up everyday for when we got home. My wife and I came for a cocktail by the pool of Istoria, and ended up staying the afternoon drinking and conversing with Stelios, the great bartender of Istoria. Simply by talking he was able to know which drinks were made for us. I want to come back to Istoria just to catch up with Stelios and drink until sunset. He made our stay remarkable. Best experience I’ve had staying at a hotel, period. The staff was incredibly kind, generous, and very accommodating. After spending time in Oia and Fira, I would not stay anywhere else in Santorini except Istoria. Exceptional all around.

There is a lot of hype about Oia and Fira but you can take a car/taxi to visit those places which we found to be very touristy and crowded. Istoria is a fantastic hotel. It only has 12 rooms, but everything about the experience felt like a big hotel stay. The pool was often our own (just the four of us), and the restaurant was perfection, especially at breakfast.
