One possible improvement, the private pools are not heated. When we stayed this resulted in the water being very cold. Looked beautiful but not enjoyable to actually go in.

The highlight of Santorini was this hotel/spa. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated with absolute royalty. I can’t say I’ve ever had better service anywhere and I’ve traveled quite a bit. Santorini is a beautiful island, and this place is absolutely worth it. Great stay at De Sol, everything in our room looks new and the amenities are amazing! We were warmly welcomed by the staff at the hotel who were so amazing to allow us to check in slightly earlier. They said it was a food buffet, but after checking it on paper, Serve food that looks like it’s been a few days They say you can't use the sauna spa in winter because it's closed. I think I should take a sauna in the summer. It's a bit far from Thira. It's a 40-minute walk.

Luxury away from the crowds This was the perfect end to our Greek island hopping holiday. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and we couldn’t recommend the hotel enough. We enjoyed everything at the Hermes Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make us “feel at home.” It is set in a lovely area and we will be coming back. There’s plenty of choice for breakfast, the bar staff are brilliant and very accommodating.

High barrel ceiling in room. Excellent amenities (new safe and mini fridge). Large quiet room, bathroom setup is excellent with separate shower. Only negative is there are 2 pillows per person. One is feather but I could feel the feather quills. The other pillow is synthetic but is too hard.

Great venue. Very clean. Unfortunately the woman with brown hair (one of the sisters) was really rude and very abrupt and abrasive every morning during the breakfast service. She needs to relax and make guests feel more welcome. Her sister with the blonde hair was lovely.

The staff was so accommodating and really went above and beyond. They were great hosts, helped translate for us when we needed, shared stories with us, made recommendations for things in the area and were ready to help whenever we needed! This is a great place to stay close to the beach. We landed in Greece late night and we had to call the front desk since they are not there 24 hours. Make sure you communicate with them what time are you are arriving.
