Best Hotels in Portaria

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in what appeared to the off season as it was very quiet. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff were kind and helpful durning all interactions

Absolutely wonderful experience! Property was gorgeous and clean. Had multiple options for breakfast. Had a beautiful dining area and an in-house bar. Air conditioner worked very well, and the rooms were quite spacious

There was plenty of options at breakfast and service was great. The on site parking was a welcome change from other hotels in the area. Overall it was a great hotel and I would recommend staying there

From most of the rooms you have a splendid view over the bay and city of Volos which can be accessed only by car in about 30 minutes along a windy but scenic road

It was better than we expected with helpful staff. Breakfast and restaurant ver good nearby with good vibe and food. Can walk to village center also

We in December as a couple really enjoyed the area, view and hotel. I knew it was an older built hotel but therefore knew it would have more spacious rooms and higher ceilings and parking

The breakfast has everything you need and is served until late. The hotel offers also a good variety of food all day long, which is also a great plus. There is also a jacuzzi - we did not use it though

We have stayed there for 3 nights, the stuff were super nice and answered every request with a smile. The breakfast buffet was very good with many different options.

Great location, quite, in the woods, great view, very nice environment, spacious rooms, very clean. The pool is a great plus, you can swim during the day and you can enjoy cocktails and drinks by the pool at night

A small kids playground is available and I think there is also a small football court. Pet friendly to those how are interested. The owner and the staff are very kind and helpful in every way they can

Great place to stay in Portaria, Pelion. Rooms are clean and the standard room are large enough. there is a swimming pool at the yard and great view of Vollos and the sea below

Now about the rooms, although not perfect for school trips, I must admit that they are excellent for families of 4. For example the bathroom doors wouldn't close completely but then again it doesn't matter

This hotel is discreetly located in a very secluded alley in the town center, with a small parking lot at the entrance. You just need to boldly drive in from the alley entrance

The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, and the rooms on the back of the second floor have large balconies where you can enjoy the sunrise in the morning, gaze at the church bell tower on the opposite hillside, or watch the chickens in the garden next door

The hotel's service is excellent, the internet speed is fast, and the most memorable aspect is the breakfast, which is rich and delicious

Beline hotel is one of the best of its peers. Very comfortable room and mattresses with a nice view and reasonably size bathroom. Nice, fresh selection at breakfast. Plenty of parking and excellent location

Not only was the village absolutely charming, but the hotel was just what you would imagine for a beautiful family-run inn in the mountains of Greece. Elias was a fantastic host and he gave us the best tips

The hotel is maintained on the high level. The staff are extremely nice. We stayed in the suites (2 families) and had no hot water in the shower at any time of the day. Other than that all was good

I cannot say enough good about the staff. We had planned on staying 2 nights but a massive rainstorm flooded the area and we could not get leave the hotel

The service is very good, the breakfast is good, we didn't get to check the spa, the internet on the 2nd floor is very weak.

The staff made sure we got feed and kept us informed about the situation with the rain even though they were not taking care of their homes that were being damaged by the storm

We stayed for two days and can definitely commend the relaxing beds, really clean rooms and wonderful location in addition to the staff being super polite and helpful! Even before tasting, the beautiful smell of dill and other herbs hit me in the face like a mule! 😅 This is the best, most original, stewed lamb 🐑 dish I've had in Greece: and I've been coming here for almost a decade

Try the spa treatments for extra relaxation! If you want to snack there are nice options between salad, pizza and club sandwich, but no restaurant. Cocktails and coffee also good

Not a problem, but it was very difficult to drive to the hotel entrance (very steep), with an other car charging (the main road was quite busy: it’s the road coming from Volos and going to the very popular and picturesque Makrinitsa - no chance to stop there)

However the wardrobe was very small, even though there was space at the entrance hallway for a wardrobe or at least a couple of hooks for our coats. The room was quite cold and it took a while to get that sorted out

That was apparently not possible, but the very motivated young lady who was basically trying to get all the issues solved, got us the lamp from the hotel reception area! The shower height could not be adjusted

One of the two bed lamps was defective (it was constantly flashing) so I couldn’t read. No table lamp in the room (by the sofa would have been nice), so I asked for the bed lamp to be fixed/ the bulb replaced

I explained that on the phone we were told that the check in might be earlier, depending upon the time the previous guests would leave, and that since our room wasn’t ready, we’d like to drop off our luggage

It was neither explained on the website/ booking site, nor during our phone call that the parking offered was not directly on the site but on the opposite side of the road maybe 100 m away
