Hotel Pelion Resort in Portaria

We spent 2 nights at the Pelion Resort and it was very good. The rooms are big, with a good bathroom and good bed. They have a very good pool (I enjoyed all day!) and their service is very friendly and kind. Everything we needed, they were ready to provide. Also very good breakfast. We would return for sure!

We have stayed there for 3 nights, the stuff were super nice and answered every request with a smile. The breakfast buffet was very good with many different options.

Excellent. Great location, quite, in the woods, great view, very nice environment, spacious rooms, very clean. The pool is a great plus, you can swim during the day and you can enjoy cocktails and drinks by the pool at night.
The breakfast has everything you need and is served until late. The hotel offers also a good variety of food all day long, which is also a great plus. There is also a jacuzzi - we did not use it though.
A small kids playground is available and I think there is also a small football court.
Good parking spaces.
Pet friendly to those how are interested.
The owner and the staff are very kind and helpful in every way they can.
Prices are very reasonable.

Just a one-night stay, but I was impressed by the courtesy and welcoming of the staff. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The hotel is mostly made up of two-storey houses built on a hill overlooking the city of Volos with nice pathways and a swimming pool and bar in the middle. Although it was almost fully-booked, the peace and quiet was overwhelming at night. Short distance from Portaria main square, take your car there if you cannot handle the steep 15-minute walk.

Very nice hotel to stay on top of Portaria village. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Basic breakfast that could be richer for the level of the hotel. The last 300m to access the road is narrow.I give 4 stars because the room aircondition was not operating so well.

I travel to Volos a lot for work (front Athens) and I usually stay at a very popular hotel in town. This time I decided to stay in Portaria and truly escape the noisy city life I experience in Athens every single day. Best decision I could've made.

The resort is beautiful. The moment you arrive you're neck deep in to the small, rural, Greek village experience. The pool was absolutely refreshing after experiencing days of 38-40°c in Athens. The suite was perfectly furnished with everything you would need. My only recommendation for the suite is to install an actual shower head holder. The restaurant serves great food, beverages, and cocktails. My personal favorite, and recommendation, is the Carbonara. Delicious.

The most redeeming quality of the entire place is the staff. I was with my wife and children and it felt like we were staying with family. It didn't matter why I, or even my kids asked for, the answer was never "No" but always "Of course!"

If you're a Greek citizen you're likely very familiar with Portaria and it's majesty. If you're a tourist, don't miss this.

Great place to stay in Portaria, Pelion.
Rooms are clean and the standard room are large enough. there is a swimming pool at the yard and great view of Vollos and the sea below.
A lot of parking area some of them by the rooms. A standard breakfast.
The staff are very nice.

A great resort! The houses are well placed, breakfast and in general food served is really good. Plus, they are pet friendly! Totally recommend!
