We went to Portobello based on a recommendation of friends, who both have 2 kids each. We asked them to recommend a good spa hotel not too far away from Budapest and Portobello came up multiple times. Now we know why. Very good location. We liked the high quality saunas and excellent cold plunge, but avoided the pools since they were mobbed by kids! Ditto for breakfast... This place caters to families, so go early if you want to avoid the noise!

Nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast and nice bar. It is in a good location to get from the Castle . There is a playroom for kids, and it is attached to an aquatic facility with pools, slides, a lazy river and a hot tub. My only disappointment was the hours for the gym. Since it is attached to the aquatics facility, it doesn’t open until 830 am. I would have loved to use it around 630-7

Hotel very average. The smell of fryer everywhere. The room I received was microscopic, while a colleague received a normal room for the same money. The cuisine was tasty and a big plus for the pool, however, not adequate for the price.

Its great hotel, nice rooms , great location but somehow we had a unfortunate experience. We had a stay for 2 nights and it so happened that on the 2nd morning there was absolutely no water in the resort so much so that it was difficult for all the essential daily routines. But i guess it was one of the bad days in the resort, but apart from that the place oa worth visit.

We visited the hotel several times. It is gradually being renovated, from the new interiors of the rooms, the restaurant to the new sunbeds by the pools. Really weak value for money, definitely not a 4-star accommodation. They change towels only every third day, so you have to visit the spa three times with the same towel (quite unhygienic). Amazing building. Had better bathrooms in other hotels on this trip. Breakfast was a disappointment compared with other hotels too. Lots of flies in the breakfast buffet area. The coffee/hot chocolate machine seemed incapable of dispensing a mocha, each attempt produced a different result, maybe blocked somewhere.

I arrived last Saturday for one night and the receptionist was perfect and very fast. She spoke very good English. In the evening I came back very late and she was there right away to open the parking lot for me.

We had a great stay in Vácz Hotel. The spacious room was well decorated with new furniture, bed and Sofa were very comfy and everything was perfectly clean. Wonderful getaway from the city in the city 🥰 We spent 3 days here at Chtistmas. Nice breakfast, cosy wooden chalets with sauna, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Just loved it.

The room is clean and nice. The location is good, in a nice neighborhood, although the train passes by and it makes some noise. A big no is that it doesn't have and elevator and there is no one to help with the luggage. The entrance lady is nice but she is not willing to help with questions about Hungary.

The staff is very responsive and kind from the beginning when you first contact them online. People from the hotel reply quickly, fulfill the requests and are very reliable. It is good to know people are always there for their guests and can be at your service. I hope you always stay this way! I recommend people to book this place.

The Attila Hotel is more than a palace to rest, it's an experience that lingers in your heart long-term after you've bid farewell.

Aldi, Lidl, shopping center and gas stations are all very close. However you only have 1 bus line you can take from here and have to change transport at least once. This also means the area is more quiet even though its right by the road. Best bank for buck stay around the area though.

If you like to stay in Budapest for reasonable price this is a place very clean the clerk at reception was very helpful and polite room big and clean equipped with refrigerator coffee maker its worth the money

The big downside is check-out at 10:00 AM. Parking is free (even though the app says it's paid), and it's closed, which is a big plus. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

It is a hotel near the M1 highway. The rooms are clean, but they are very impersonal. There are no carpets on the floor! That for 70€ per night!!!! The staff speak only Hungarian and the so called "buffet breakfast" is a (bad) joke! The begin to serve it at 7.00. At 7.05 there were two people eating and you could find only two sausages and a tablespoon of scrambled eggs! I think they had that night...

We checked in after a car breakdown at 3am, very friendly staff even if they don't speak English very well we could understand each other even providing us with phone charger and tasty Hungarian beer. We were passing through and chose the hotel because it is on the freeway. The hotel has ample parking and a gas station. The rooms are clean and big. Unfortunately there are no hairdryers. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is rich and good. I can only recommend the hotel.

Really nice place where to stop for a night. Clean room, clean bathroom, good parking spot full with cameras, we did had the bicycles on the car support and it was safe to let them outside.

Good location to trek to Turul monument. The girls warm to you after a while and they were very nice, a little English but enough to get by. You have to pay for air conditioning per day. The beds were not great and the walls pretty thin. But it's a budget motel. Cold beer and good soup.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Tiliana. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was just brilliant, being able to sit outside, eat and drink outside in the gorgeous sunshine was just lovely. The bedroom was great and a very comfortable bed. Average hotel which is as good as it gets in Tatábanya. I got a room which was freshly painted (probably few days ago). Smell of paint gave me headache. However, rooms are clean and warm, people working there are friendly. Breakfast is nothing special but at least you can go early (I think 6.30).
