It was very hard to find the reception because in the parking lot underneath the hotel was a disco party and they blocked the entrance there with serging tables. The hotel is very clean, good breakfast and nice staff

Stayed here while the hotel was under renovation but the view of the Turul monument and of the surounding hill is beautiful.

Average hotel which is as good as it gets in Tatábanya. I got a room which was freshly painted (probably few days ago). Smell of paint gave me headache. However, rooms are clean and warm, people working there are friendly. Breakfast is nothing special but at least you can go early (I think 6.30).

Clean, warm and friendly. A comfortable place to stay and very central in Tate. The garage is a big help in winter since the car is not icy cold and warms quickly in the morning.

Good location to trek to Turul monument. The girls warm to you after a while and they were very nice, a little English but enough to get by. You have to pay for air conditioning per day. The beds were not great and the walls pretty thin. But it's a budget motel. Cold beer and good soup.

Everything is good except the pillow is too high. When I wake up, I have a sore neck. I can't turn my neck left or right.

It is a hotel near the M1 highway. The rooms are clean, but they are very impersonal. There are no carpets on the floor! That for 70€ per night!!!! The staff speak only Hungarian and the so called "buffet breakfast" is a (bad) joke! The begin to serve it at 7.00. At 7.05 there were two people eating and you could find only two sausages and a tablespoon of scrambled eggs! I think they had that night...

Greate value for your money. Clean and very friendly staff. Room is simple, but clean, fresh and got what you need. Decent breakfast as well, considering the low price for the whole stay. All in all, a great stay that is highly recommended for travelers passing through.

We checked in after a car breakdown at 3am, very friendly staff even if they don't speak English very well we could understand each other even providing us with phone charger and tasty Hungarian beer. The room was really clean and spacious, quiet place and beautiful panorama, also tasty breakfast. Definitely recommend if you are around and want to get some rest and be treated nicely!

We were passing through and chose the hotel because it is on the freeway. The hotel has ample parking and a gas station. The rooms are clean and big. Unfortunately there are no hairdryers. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is rich and good. I can only recommend the hotel.

Really nice place where to stop for a night. Clean room, clean bathroom, good parking spot full with cameras, we did had the bicycles on the car support and it was safe to let them outside.

I stopped by for lunch and I am impressed. Very good service, delicious food and fair price. Recommended.

An interesting choice of stars given to this hotel. As a frequent traveler I've been around the world and it's safe to say that this falls well within the two to three star category. The rooms are a little bit dated, the furniture needs updating, the beds are not very comfortable amd the fiod is average. I have yet to try out the spa facilities but I'm reluctant to do so. Nice comfortable hotel in a quite location. Room was a good size on 2nd floor and had a small balcony looking out the back of the hotel. There was a kettle, microwave and fridge in the room but no tea/coffee so you would have to buy it. Good local shops only 5 mins away. Bed was low and quilts didn't fit the size of bed. Also position do that socket next to the bed could not be used and had to move...

Very nice and quiet hotel to stay. Located between the two lakes of Tata. The fridge in the room comes handy in hot summer days. A supermarket is a five minute walk away. Nice staff, good breakfast. Tata is really beautiful place in Hungary that's worth to visit.

I think one of the best things in this place for me was its size. Despite it being a relatively small hotel, the quality is up there, and this way, the staff has more time and patience which really is palpable. Good food but needs some updates… Hotel Kiss is an average 3-star hotel. The overall look is normal, nothing fancy, but the property feels a bit old and outdated. This includes the bathrooms, which could use some updates and better cleaning. On the bright side, the bed was super comfy, so I slept very well. The highlight of my stay was definitely the food. The restaurant and breakfast were excellent...

Fine hotel, room was clean, safe available. The staff was friendly, wellness was fine with an indoor pool and 2 saunas open. Free parking is available, card accepted. City center (the lake) is 25 mins walk away.

Its a nice hotel. The rooms are pretty and have all you need (water kettle for tea would be nice). My problem with the rooms is that the window points towards the street and the window is nit really sound proof. So you can hear the street pretty loud. The breakfast is pretty dood, you have many options to choise from and some parts change over the days. The service is really good, they are really kind...

Our little girl also really liked the family-friendly hotel, everything was nice, clean, and tidy, it was a pleasure to sleep there. This place is absolutely stunning. I went there for a wedding and everything was perfect. Food was also great and staff members were helpful.

Amazing experience in an authentic castle transformed in a hotel. With had the library loft, with lots of books and the interior looks impressive. The breakfast was delicious and diverse, including prosecco and fruits. The park is superb, it was too bad to spend just 1 night. We shall come back for sure, the dinner menu seems very intersting.

After our 17 hours of flight it was a delight to spend our first day in this beautiful environment! Absolutely enchanting, peaceful and quiet! The staff of the hotel and the restaurant were amazing! Unfortunately the weather was terribly hot (went above 40 that day), but when we requested a fan in our room by the time we got back it was delivered. The restaurant was also first class. The food was delicious...

We went to Portobello based on a recommendation of friends, who both have 2 kids each. We asked them to recommend a good spa hotel not too far away from Budapest and Portobello came up multiple times. Now we know why. Frankly, there is a lot to love to about Portobello, at least there was for us. The food (we were half board, so breakfast and dinner) is really delicious, especially for what you pay...

We stayed in this hotel for one night during our cycle tour from Vienna to Budapest. Nice modern hotel, friendly staff, excellent, quiet and clean room, great breakfast with lot of choice. We did not use the wellness facilities. Ideal place to visit the city. We enjoyed our stay !

Very good location. We liked the high quality saunas and excellent cold plunge, but avoided the pools since they were mobbed by kids! Ditto for breakfast... This place caters to families, so go early if you want to avoid the noise!

Nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast and nice bar. It is in a good location to get from the Castle . There is a playroom for kids, and it is attached to an aquatic facility with pools, slides, a lazy river and a hot tub. My only disappointment was the hours for the gym. Since it is attached to the aquatics facility, it doesn’t open until 830 am. I would have loved to use it around 630-7

The room isn't very large, but it feels cozy. It includes a spacious comfortable bad, brand-new furniture, and up-to-date plumbing. The room is excellently soundproofed. The hotel itself is contemporary and spotless. The staff members are both amiable and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and dinner, which were delicious and offered a broad range of choices. I wholeheartedly recommend...

Everything was fine. The room was clean, and big enough, the food was varied, and satisfied all needs. There was a room for children too. The experiens spa was very good too. The staff was polite, and helpul. The wiew from my room was wonderfool.

Great stay! Very nica room, free use of minibar, compy bed, nice breakfast and amazing location with direct view of the bazilika, it was a great pleasure to finish off the evening in their wellness centre with. Saunas and jacuzi highly recommend.z

Great location, everything was within walking distance. The receptionist was extra kind and always smiling. The room was well equipped, we had everything we needed. We had a great time. An excellent place to stay!

Hotel very average. The smell of fryer everywhere. The room I received was microscopic, while a colleague received a normal room for the same money. The cuisine was tasty and a big plus for the pool, however, not adequate for the price.

The hotel was beautiful, everywhere was spotlessly clean, the spa was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful, kind and polite. The food was delicious, the room was clean and beautiful. The only negative experience was that the wifi did not work (did not provide internet), and the TV channel scale was not too wide.

Its great hotel, nice rooms , great location but somehow we had a unfortunate experience. We had a stay for 2 nights and it so happened that on the 2nd morning there was absolutely no water in the resort so much so that it was difficult for all the essential daily routines. But i guess it was one of the bad days in the resort, but apart from that the place oa worth visit.

The room was freshly renovated, really modern and elegant design. The size is not too big for two adults and a children, however a quite big wardrobe to store. The spa is fine, well maintained with several different saunas and hot tubs. But it was a little bit cold inside in the winter time. The activities are really good for children, different slides in the lobby, playgrounds around the hotel....

As a tourist from china the hotel was very nice.The water is good. But maybe if thes would extend it it would be better because theres too much people.📢📢

We stayed at Velence Resort & Spa with our one-year-old son and had an amazing experience! Everything was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for families with small children. The staff was friendly and professional, the wellness area was excellent, and the pools were great for both adults and kids. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. We’ll definitely be coming back...

The service is terrible. The hotel is heavily understaffed, and everything is very slow. Wellness is not maintained, half of saunas are turned off to save energy cost. They have never heard about customer focus. Sauna seance was great. I recommend it to everyone.
