Velence Resort & Spa - Hotel - Spa -Restaurant in Velence

I stayed at this hotel for 9 nights with my wife and our 2-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations, especially given the €300 per night rate.

The hotel presents itself as family-friendly, but childcare assistance is only available for children over 3 years old.

Cleanliness standards were below what we expected.

Several food items, such as eggs and cold cuts, appeared old and sometimes discolored.

Our room was not cleaned during our entire stay (only towels were changed).

We noticed bugs in the room, and I was bitten during the night.

The AC in our room could not be turned off, which contributed to my wife feeling unwell.

Many facilities felt dated and in need of maintenance.

The only pool for small children is indoors, and the sauna was out of order.

Wi-Fi did not work in our room.

Staff appeared to be very young and lacked experience in handling certain situations.

Some guests behaved disrespectfully, which affected the atmosphere.

The location is remote — about a 30-minute drive to the nearest town or attraction.

We had high hopes for this stay, but overall, it did not offer the quality or comfort we expected.

It might have been a good place which is not maintained properly. Cleaning is very poor, need also refurbishment. Personal is very friendly, helpful, food also good. For the price there are much better places in Hungary.

First when we got our room we was wondering how dirty is the carpet on the grandfloor, and in our room. I asked to change for usthe room on reception. We got a new one. Fully dissapointed me this hotel. Before we visited this hotel few years ago, was on top with top service. Now we decide to spend our new years eve here. It was a bad decide. The hotel rooms and corridor carpets fully dirty, in wellness the floor too. The welness air temperature is cold.nowhere,i found temierature checker. The towels and the bath Cloaks are old and worn. This hotel does not correspond to 3 stars either. Dilapidated hotel. It's not worth the price. In the bathroom no shampoo and bathgel. The hair dryer in the bathroom doesn't blow properly, I had to ask for one to dry my hair. Katastrofa!! Each moment somthing new bad experience. The bathrooms Shelf broken. This is a huge disappoint. I think will newer back here again. I will look forward to the New Year's Eve program and the quality of the food. I will report latert about that, and put on a pictures and videos. . Dont reserve here if u want to be in good and nice hotel!

Disgusted. We were in the water little more than 15 minutes trying two pools. The water is absolutely filthy. In one pool you could see the discolouration, in the outside pools, lots and lots of grouting and lines of dirt have separated from the tiles and are floating around.. in the right light you can see thousands of bits of dirt in the water, hair floating around. It is as if there is no proper filtration system for the water which of course there will be, but clearly not doing its job. The worst ‘spa’ I have been to in Hungary by far. This is a dirty 2 star at best. Probably once upon a time was great, but certainly no more.

Avoid this place. Quite expensive for the service. Every pools are filthy, floating dirt, hair and other stuff you don’t want to know what they are in the water. Disgusting! We left after half an hour, I will make a complaint.
