Hotels in Nyiregyhaza

Nice rooms, good food. Fresh coffee for breakfast. In wellness there is a small swimming pool (20 meters long), sauna, jakuzzi with warm water. Private parking space.

Wifi is very bad not usable work in IT and i need wifi. Rooms are very oldstylish with no nice view. Update Feb 2025: i got room 110 the wifi is much better then room 103. The view is on the street so its also ok. The only thing is the hot water...you need to keep the water running for 10-minutes to get hot . Service was excellent.

Wonderful, tasty, and authentic Hungarian food. Attentive service and reasonable prices. We particularly liked the cabbage rolls (töltött kapuszta) and the hungarian crepes (palacsinta). Air conditioning was good, in a city that doesn't have it everywhere.

Nice centrally located hotel with excellent restau Great central location in Nyiregyhaza. Great restaurant with very tasty Hungarian dishes. Rooms clean and comfortable, except our rooms on the 2nd floor had somewhat low roof on one side. Staff very friendly.

thank you It was a fun journey I will visit again

Excellent in every way . An very affordable.

The staff is the best part of the hotel!!! Most have been working there for many years and felt welcomed each and every time. Adam at reception, Csaba and Renata at the restaurant and Evelin chief of housekeeping, all provided excellent service! Breakfasts are super, with ample variety for all. Location is very calm and peaceful, grounds meticulous and parking ample. Renovation is needed, however...

Small rooms, but comfortable. No screen on qindows or patio door. The hotel is on the edge of the town, you can get in the city center in 5 minutes by driving. It is a quiet place. The patio had no lights and had lots of tree debris and dead bugs on it. Overall the hotel could be cleaner.

It's a fantastic kids-friendly wellness hotel with delightful staff. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The bathroom is excellent, with a bathtub. We had a great dining and breakfast experience. Lovely food. The restaurant has a built-in soft play area for children and pool tables/ darts for adults. There is a significant wellness wing with a sauna steam room, light therapy showers,...

Overall good, we had a good time there. The room we had was a little outdated, didn't look like the photos, the furniture seemed older but in good shape and clean. The hair dryer was not working, but we called the reception, and they provided one. The bathroom walls are made of glass, so there is no privacy in the bathroom. The restaurant and the food were good. There is a small playroom near the restaurant...

Awesome, friendly staff, good prices.

The food in the restaurant was great (both breakfast and dinner). The rooms are cosy, the indoor pool was small but kids loved it. Horses around the property kind of surround you with tranquility; we got scared by one but it ended up just fine. Overall, a very nice atmosphere!

Everything was epic: the room, the hotel itself, breakfast and dinner, the location. The spa was good. I appreciated the saunas and the outdoor pool

Positives: - Excellent location near the zoo and the Aquarius Spa. The heated tunnel connecting the hotel directly to Aquarius was a big plus, and free access to the spa for hotel guests is a great benefit. - The rooms were very quiet and warm (we stayed in October) - Nice lobby area near the hotel bar - The hotel itself is new and modern, surrounded by green area and a lake. There’s also a beautiful...

I was looking forward to this trip but unfortunately the hotel did not meet the expectations. The rooms were nice but the swimming pools were really dirty and full of dead skin. Everyday it smelled like urine around the bathrooms and there was a lot of water on the floor. Absolutely disgusting. The food was good but there was not much diversity. Once the fruits put out were done, there was no replacing...

I was there for a business trip and forgot my iPad in the room after I checked out. They delivered it to the office. That’s 5 star service! Everything else - rooms/ breakfast/ general service as well was perfect.

The hotel and the rooms are nicely renovated. The location is good. The elevators are unbelievably slow, but more importantly, the food is very average, definitely not 4* standard. Not strictly hotel issue, but we were expecting better spa facilities as well.

We, and our dog, really enjoyed our stay!

Very nice place, very good service and the location is amazing. It is near the zoo and the aquapark, just a walking distance. Breakfast is good and with plenty of food. The pool is very nice.

We had a great stay, rooms are older style but very clean and spacious, hotel is in a big park with many trees, breakfast was mainly Hungarian style but very tasty, its also just a few minutes walk to the aquapark or zoo, there is also a hamster and a turtle in the lobby 😊, the staff was nice friendly and helpful. Thank you for the great time.

Just : amazing Amazing hotel in a very quiet area. Walking distance to the zoo and aquapark. Friendly staff

Great hotel, very quiet, surrounded by the forest. Better then your majority 3stars hotel, definitely a 4star hotel in my eyes. Clean big room with balcony, friendly staff, jacuzzi

Solid rooms with futuristic bathrooms and clean spaces, staff was kind the zoo is close its a perfect hotel for tourists...

Nice, quiet area in the woods, away from all the traffic and tourist sights.

We stayed two nights. Great location by the pools and zoo. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful. The rooms were very comfortable. We were also able to park during peak season, which is a problem if you need to drive to the attractions.

Aventinus Hotel was an excellent choice for us and served as a strategic base for our weekend stay in Nyíregyháza. Overall, we were very satisfied, and the hotel has earned a strong four-star rating from us. The biggest plus for us was the incredible flexibility regarding parking, which made our stay extremely convenient. We arrived before the official check-in time and, without any issue, were able...

Good location if you go to visit zoo. Good breakfast nice environment. Staff nice and polite even when we arrive we check in 2 adult and 1 baby with mention that baby bad needed and Booked and this was not instaled and feedback was that they don't have a free one anymore. They buy a new one but the lady from front desk did not know that this need a blanchet pillow and extra towel. No cleaning second...

Very nice location, big rooms and clean, employee speak english.

Everything was wonderful Service rooms very clean

Good quality rooms with tea/coffee. Clean. Silent. Nice crew. Bad breakfast, small range of products. Recommended for short visit.

Excellent location, right in the centre and close to everything. Friendly helpful staff, big spacious modernised room with adequate heating. Decent buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Comfortable beds. A great experience and superb value for money.

Older reviews are not a true reflection of how this hotel now looks. The room I had was very modern and the bathroom had been refurbished to a very high standard. Hallways and main stairwell all freshly carpeted. New digital air conditioning in room with remote control. Genuinely nice people and a really enjoyable stay. (One tip, room 111. You have obviously spent a lot of money on the bathroom. The...

Rendezvényterem Nyíregyházán.

Giving 3 stars only for the location. Rooms are filthy and screem for renovation! Breakfast are very poor and little choice

Well, the place looks nice. Resembles authentic old architecture. Rooms are nicr, bathroom is great. Caution for tourists: Revolut cards do not work, I have no idea why.

Old casino/castle transformed into a hotel, affordable prices, good breakfast and free bicycles to rent throughout all the day. In the very city center near the cathedral, and the parking lot is accesible from the back of the building. 400m to the mall, and the street is full of restaurants with good prices also.

We organised a family weekend here with 25 guests. All generations were participating, including small kids, teenagers, adults and elderly. All of them found their preferred activities, either in the pool, or in the bar playing bowling/ billiard/ darts or just sitting in the garden. The food was excellent and more than enough. We got a separate conference room where we could project a family video...

We had a very good time there, the room was cosy and clean, with all the facilities. Also the wellness was pleasing, it wasn't crowded at all. The Service was 10/10, very helpful and respectful, they even managed us a massage, I didn't had to deal with anything. I fully recommend!!

Overall, the Hotel is really good. However there were some issues I experienced. 1. My room didn't have a balcony, nor their was a cigarette smoking area near to my room. 2. The wellness service was closed on the day of my stay as they said that gas prices have increased. That was not expected. 3. The hotel is a bit overpriced (41eur/night) as compared to what they offered..

Nice wellness spa hotel. Staff was very helpful and kind, cuisine was great, breakfast pretty decent. Really enjoyed the hotel and the pool was really nice. Room was a little small and the shower head was fixed which I didn’t like. They can improve a bit the cleaning.

Well situated but crowdy place. Time tooke toll of place... nice personell... not on my taste but fully comfy for travelers. Restaurant to noisy for hotel guest....

It's a nice place. The food is great. Traditionally authentic and the flavours just extraordinary good. We had a team building over here, and the staff was dead nice to us. Definitely recommend it.

It's a very nice hotel placed in a quiet place. It's very closed to the Aquapark and the Zoo. We stayed at this hotel in March this year. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast was very good. I do recommend this hotel.

We stayed 2 nights at this little hotel in Nyiregyhaza. It's situated outside the city, but near te Aquarius aquapark and at a 5 minute walk from the Zoo. Also in walking distance there are some good restaurants you must try. Rooms are small but clean, staff ok, except that they speak poor English. Breakfast also fair for the money you pay.

The hotel is clean, nice, you have robes for the spa and towels. The breakfast was good, but it would be nice to have more variety if you stay more than one night. The rooms are not very big, but they have a big and comfortable bed. Also, in the room price is included the entrance at the aqua park. The staff is very polite and you have parking space.

I arranged for a stay at this hotel for a family of three fleeing the war in Ukraine. The hotel management helped facilitate a good solution for the group, and provided exceptional services and a great deal of flexibility with financial and practical arrangements. I would like to thank the wonderful staff for their help, support and amazing service. This is a place that truly cares about their visitor...

we feel absolutely amazing here..thank you are great

Was great for a 3 stars hotel, you get free tickets for the spa as well for everyday you sleep there. Also the prices are quiet reasonable.

Excellent kitchen, nice staff, perfect location!

Very nice place, good food and perfect location with pool complex and zoo near by

All you need to know about service - how they served table for my baby. Nice clean place, cool location awesome stuff. Park, zoo, lake, spa, national food... Best for family. Fully recommended!!

We got a bit small room (3+1) , but nice.

Really nice hotel and staff. It's also great that they have tickets to the zoo and spa so you don't need to bother to queue for those on the spot. The hotel has direct access to the spa. The room was spacious, modern and in general better than in the pictures on Booking. 😊

The night of February 16, 2018 was spent at Hotel Írisz. Located using our favorite on-line booking engine, we were happy with both the accommodations and the price. Parking, breakfast and Wi-Fi / W-LAN Internet access were included in the price. Recommended.

Very nice location, perfect for a quiet stay in nature.

This hotel belongs to the same organization as the local zoo. They offer free entrance when you stay here. The hotel is very basic and a bit old but very well maintained. The room had a lot of space and was spotlessly clean. The hotel is in a forest which is great for a walk or run. The breakfast was also basic but correct and the service was super, we had a nice stay here!

Nice place to relax, hotel is in the woods and has a playground. The food is good, the menu is quite cheap. No air conditioning.

Nice small hotel outside of the city by the forest and really close to the Zoo. Helpful staff, good breakfast. The rooms are a bit dated. They have bike rental service wich is very useful, to best way to get around in the area.

A bit far (2 bus stops) from the zoo, but the hotel itself is quite nice. The breakfast could contain a bit more stuff to chose from, but other than that it's cozy and the rooms are nice.

very good comfortabel resalable Price's good service

Nice location. Nice people. Very good food. Clean rooms.

We ended up here by pure chance, encouraged by the very good price and reviews. Three days (two nights) in the hotel with breakfast. The room is neat and clean, with a decor similar to the entire facility, which is familiar but atmospheric. Breakfast buffet very good at a price of 4000 HUF of an adult and 2500 HUF for a child (07.2024) It is difficult to get along in English, but in the end everything...

I stayed here for one night on a road trip across Hungary and was surprised at the convenience and quality of the Hotel at such a low price. Staff didn't speak much english but we muddled through with google translate and they were helpful and friendly. The rooms to the rear of the property are like motel rooms, which was handy as I was able to park the car right outside my room. Although the Hotel...

This wonderful place is at one time traditional but also completely modern with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The food is incredible, the service is second to none. I need to mention the service a lot. Nothing is too much trouble.

Nice room, friendly staff, free parking, very good food and breakfast

Superb place, with great service Value for the price. Location perfect. Opposite the entrance of a bus stop, so if you are travelling with a lot of or heavy luggage you can save on taxi (just take local bus 8, 8A, 10) The room is comfortable and clean with A/C and fridge, TV. Bathroom equipped with a hairdryer (for ladies' pleasure) Walking distance from the train/bus station, off license, museum,...

Comfortable. Modern. Downtown. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Private parking. 😁

Very nice place to stay, friendly hosts, isolated parking, close to the city center and good restaurants. It would be, however, really helpful if people at front desk speak English more.

it's such a beautiful place , and the people are so kind , I love it !!!!! :*

Average hotel with good breakfast, strategic location and fair price.

Well placed hotel. A little bit dated, but the price is right and the staff is very helpful

Nice place perfect position . the breakfast was not that yummy though.

Althoigh the place is clean, the atmosphere is a "dusty '80s", with furniture and memorabilia from a late era. The biggest room in the hotel was cluttered with heavy old furniture that gave off an old undesirable smell. A room for collectors perhaps, but not for 2020 customers. The windows were hard to open, which suggests that they are rarely opened to vent out the smell. The bathroom was clean, the...

Big and comfortable room for such kind of hotel. Frindly stuff. Quiet and nice place.

Very good, quiet place, provides a comfortable rest!

Very friendly place. The price does not include breakfast, but in reality it is included. Varied rich breakfast Coffee and tea can be consumed all day. The kitchen could also be used. Close to the zoo. I can only recommend.

Comfortable, quiet and the breakfast is very good

It has a very nice environment, a garden full of little rabbits, the accommodation is comfortable and nice, the breakfast is plentiful! We are having a great time, we will definitely be back!
