Good and friendly hotel. We had great room with large terrace overlooking the river.
The attached restaurant is good but at the lower season is open only 5 days during the week.
Easy access and close to the wineries.
Enjoyable stay. Recommended.

Nice stay at this hotel, had a day visit to a winery in Tokay and decided to stay in a more traditional hotel next to the river.
Rooms really clean and good value. Breakfastvincluded that was really good with home made sweet cottage cheese pastries.
Would be happy to stay again. Less than 10 minute walk to the train station and 10 minutes walk into the main town.

We didn't stay the night, we just needed somewhere to rest our feet and charge our phones because our train was delayed by an hour — and the receptionist was incredibly nice (only speaks Hungarian btw if you are an foreign tourist), offered us coffee for free and let us sit for an hour in the breakfast room and sort our day trip out. Incredibly nice man, and if I return to Tokaj I will for sure seek out this establishment's hospitality again.

In its category, the best hotel I've stayed at. Spotlessly clean rooms and common areas, very quiet, good breakfast, professional and helpful staff and proprietors who obviously care about providing a high quality product. This is the 4th time I have stayed there, for 10+ days, and I've seen this level to be consistent and to be deoended upon. I only hope I get to stay there again next summer!

Good location walking distance to restaurants and bars. Spacious and functional rooms. Very generous breakfast. Highly recommended.

Clean hotel rooms but low speed wifi. The wing at the street side offers a little bit more speed than the other wing. I tried both. But also the street side is far from what I'm used to get in hotels in that price range.
Breakfast (buffet) is in principle good but products that should be hot or warm are often too cold or some plates in the glass case are empty. They are filled when you ask but it takes about 10 minutes before they are filled. This means that I already finished my incomplete breakfast.
Staff and management are very friendly and professional.

Nice location, spacious rooms, ok breakfast, it is a new hotel so the bed is good, air-conditioning is top and pillows comfortable.

Hit & miss..
Nice building, large room, everything clean.
Some staff are very nice some just showed up to work.
They advertised the double room with a description of the bed with one big mattess. In reality it's 2 beds pushed together - not couple friendly..
The shower gel in shower was so watery it flew through my fingers straight away - thankfully I had shampoo with me..
There was a loud mechanic noise sometimes during the night which could bother people (I used to live in a n apartment beside a busy road so fine by me).
Safe didn't work and we couldn't turn the thermostat lower than 25°C.
We didn't bother to talk to the receptionist as she wasn't helpful when we were checking in. She also had said that breakfast was until 10 but in the breakfast room there was a board saying 9.30am. At 9.20am there wasn't too much food left BUT the lady from the kitchen came out and asked everybody if more food was needed as they would have been happy to cook if we wanted - this was a very nice touch!
There's no tea and coffee making facility in the room which is acceptable but there's no room service option either for those who need a coffee first thing in the morning.
All in all I would look around before booking as we paid 21000 forint (about €68) and it wasn't really worth it considering the shortcomings and lack of service.
