The hotel is like a resort, insanely comfortable. The staff has been amazing. The bartenders (Zsolt and Zoltan) have blown out minds. Better craft cocktails than we get back home, at less than half the price, and a smile on their face the whole time. I would happily stay here any time in in Debrecen.

The hotel is located in a perfect location, within walking distance to the central area, shopping malls, etc. Most of the rooms are spacious and perfectly fine for even longer stays (I was there for nearly a month). Good hotel located in the central area of Debrecen. You get really good value for money. Nice breakfast buffet with plenty of fresh and freshly made selection. Friendly and helpful staff. And do not forget the wellness area on the third floor, where you can find a sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool, solarium, and open terasa and sit outside on nice summer day.

My room was great. The mattress was a little too soft for my taste and the lack of a shower curtain was a bother, but regardless, it was a pleasant experience. The free access to the wellness center was a fortunate surprise. The breakfast had great variety. Would recommend.

The hotel is really 5 minutes by walk from the center so the location is great. Otherwise it is quite obsolete, and even looks dirty (the walls, carpet). The bathroom is not so attractive either. If you have something to do in the Kolcsey Center this is a good choice since its 1 minute by walk.

Rooms facing the park are large and relatively quiet. Rooms facing the main street can be noisy and are quite small with old TV sets. Bathrooms are generally ok, but the shower cabin could be designed much better... Breakfast is very good, there is something for everyone. Hotel has a nice swimming pool and limited spa/gym facilities.

I say this because I compare my recent to Delibab to Budapest prices and service for similar properties. Location is great, very central and easy access. Rooms are up to standard that you would expect from an Accor affiliated hotel. Service is poor compared to other 4* hotels and Accor standard.

Great hotel if you want to experience the spirit of the golden era. The hotel is an impressive building that unfolds many surprises, from an old abandoned section to what looks like a Russian elevator that can withstand an atomic blast. Great experience!

If you want to have a reminiscent experience in a old dated hotel, this is a must go! Plenty of abandoned sections of the building will make you feel as if you made a trip to Chernobyl. Some rooms are just falling apart while you can enjoy a minimum offer breakfast in a pretty impressive hall. My recommendation: go for it!

Nice little hotel. We were there off season so there were no kids around so it was quiet. Plenty of food at breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. The room was a bit warm to us but nothing what an open window cannot fix.

The hotel and the rooms are nicely renovated. The location is good. The elevators are unbelievably slow, but more importantly, the food is very average, definitely not 4* standard. Not strictly hotel issue, but we were expecting better spa facilities as well.

The place looks a bit old and the cleanliness is questionable, but at least the breakfast is diverse and better than other Debrecen hotels I've been to. There's a nice private parking area, with electrical vehicle charging spots, that also offer a few covered parking places. The location is close to the Motorway, Tesco, Spar and a shopping center with multiple shops. Overall good.

If you want to get away from city noise, this is the perfect place, out in the suburbs with two supermarkets close by.

The hotel is ok for one night stay, clean , and the receptionist was nice. The problem was that we arrived around 9 o'clock and the restaurant was closed. The bar was closing in 5 min, so we grabbed a couple of beers and went to bed hungry. Would be nice to live in a fridge at reception a few sandwiches for the late guests.

The hotel is clean and tidy, the food is excellent, and the location is great. The reception staff is extremely polite, especially a younger man named Feri, who was always smiling, whether it was day or night, and consistently kind and hospitable. Highly recommended!

Location is great, parking is nice but you DO pay for it! Food is hit or miss. The staff is friendly and helpful but it can be a bit difficult to speak to them if you don't know hungarian. I recommend it to older folks who don't mind the slower pace of things. They have a great kids playroom but other than that everything costs money.

Everything was perfect. The food was excellent, like the view from the room. The hotel have a great wellness with sauna, outer thermal and massage. Also have billiard, pingpong, and fitness room. The room has very clean, nice and so big and the view of the Tisza-to.

We were in the hotel for several days. It is in a very nice place. The room was comfortable. The diners were varied. We had real hospitality. We used several services in the wellness area. The beautician lady has golden hands. I can only recommend it to everyone.

The hotel is ok. The price and quality are in line. The furniture is not new, the mattress and pillows were not very comfortable. The food is delicious, breakfast and dinner are buffets with a selection of national dishes. I really liked the hotel's location and the two swimming pools - one with therapeutic warm water and one with clean cold water. Towels and robes were included in the price.

Great people working here every one was very nice. This hotel, however is old and could use a facelift. I would say that the price was right since everything else in the area is almost double. It’s also a great area to visit. It has a very fun walking zone with great food and music and dancing.

The Food was excellent, there is even decent espresso at the included breakfast. The game room with bar look okay, but the pool tables are made of steel/a lot of metal and feel from the 1950s or earlier. They cost extra/frame, althogh at the reception we were told it is free. There is also the Bowling alley available for booking. The Spa is nice with wet and dry Sauna, Cold Water Tub, Jacuzzi Pool...

A wonderful place to relax and warm up in the thermal pools during winter, when it’s snowy and freezing outside. It’s a cozy and peaceful spot where everything feels calm and pleasant. There are many different baths and pools, as well as a small water park, jacuzzi, and more.

Sorry for the lack of pictures, this is only the entrance. I love this place i have such fond childhood memories of it! The climate is so warm and nice, the plants are beautiful and dreamy creating a lovely atmosphere. The pools are great and the slides are very fun as well. We came here from Romania, so comparing with what you can find in our country it is perfect. It was clean enough, different types of pools inside for kids and adults also.

This AquaPark is among the finest in the region. It is stunning and well-structured, ensuring safety and being suitable for children. There are numerous ways to have fun in the water. The slides are quite thrilling, yet they are entirely safe.

Came here on a Saturday and the experience was good, there’s a water park, thermal pool and sauna world (would recommend paying for this as soooo worth it and lots of variety)? Nice room, excellent staff, but tram disruptive Room was very nice, bed was okay (too soft for my back, but fine for my wife). But, if you are a light sleeper, then the tram that passes by frequently until late night, and from early morning was quite disruptive.

Perfect Hotel to stay in the centre of town. Rooms are huge with air con also there are balcony on every room. Bathrooms are spacious with a nice shower. There is nice hotel with local bath as well as the access to the big area of bathes and water pools. The breakfasts and dinners are good, food is delicious. The food in the restaurant was great (both breakfast and dinner). The rooms are cosy, the indoor pool was small but kids loved it. Horses around the property kind of surround you with tranquility; we got scared by one but it ended up just fine. Overall, a very nice atmosphere!

Varda Sport Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were nice and spotlessly clean, creating a comfortable environment. The staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Overall, it was a great experience, highly recommend, and I would happily stay here again!

Stayed for the first time in this hotel, very close to the sports park nearby, we came for business and since it was out of tourist season and there weren’t any sports events we were nearly alone in the hotel, yet they were still able to offer a very nice breakfast in the morning. The rooms are VERY comfortable, adjustable AC, minifridge, airdryer, etc. Everything felt clean, I didnt try the spa or the pool cause i was on a work trip, but a very nice experience.It is a good choice to accomodate the theatre festival participants here. Room was clean and in an OK state, I liked the mini kitchen with fridge, oven and microwave. Bathroom is above average but I hate curtains in the shower, a door would raise the quality tremendously. I liked the bed. A table and a chair are missing very much from the room. The AC worked.
